Over a century ago, the United States of America went through a divisive and bloody Civil War that separated the people of this nation bone from marrow. It split friends, families and eventually the nation itself as a line was drawn dividing the Union States of the North from the newly formed Confederacy of the Southern States.
Ostensibly, the war that followed was fought over the abolition of slavery, a devilish practice that never should have been allowed in the first place, and although it was the basic issue for the conflict – as is the case so much of the time – there were a myriad of other issues involved.
One – in my opinion – was just plain stubbornness and pride and the dogged determination that the South would not let itself be told what to do by the other half of the country, but trade, tariffs and different attitudes and beliefs about just how far a federal government could go in setting the tone and making laws to be obeyed by all the states were also involved.
The point I'm trying to make is that the feelings festered so long and ran so deep that men whose fathers had stood shoulder to shoulder in the war for independence faced off across fields of battle and killed each other.
The Civil War never should have happened, and had cooler heads prevailed on both sides, never would have. Southerners had to know that slavery was an abomination to the principles they had fought and died for in the Revolution.
No man has the right to own another man, to reap the fruits of his labor for nothing, to consider his children nothing more than commodities to be sold off or traded away on a whim, separating
families and breeding human beings like livestock.
But instead of acknowledging the very obvious evil of this situation, politicians from the South, convinced that the economy of the Southern States was dependent on slavery, chose to become a separate nation and soon after over six hundred thousand Americans lost their lives in a senseless war that would set the Southern States back a half century.
Surely, had it been approached by fair, level-headed men on both sides of the issue, abolition could have been achieved without war. But the rhetoric grew ever hotter. Brash young men on both sides, who had never fired a gun in anger, viewed a war as the pinnacle of romanticism, and implacable politicians refused to give an inch.
Is this not the same attitude we see on the streets of America today?
I see young people interviewed on television who can't even articulate the reason they are protesting. Others bent on destruction who probably espouse no cause but chaos.
I've seen hysterical protestors screaming about First Amendment rights which they seem to think only protects them and those who think like them and that the opposition has no first amendment protection and should be shouted down at all costs.
The rhetoric is becoming hotter and more nonsensical, the radical element more apparent, the violence and destruction of property more common place.
The pot is boiling and it’s only a matter of time before there will be blood on the streets.
Americans have the right to civil disobedience, a right to gather and demonstrate against some policy they feel is unfair or harmful to the country at large, but they do not have the right to interrupt commerce, break windows, burn cars or do bodily harm to those who disagree with them.
People who won't listen to reason, who ignore the law of the land and who try to stifle the opinions of others tend to forget that there is an element of violence on the other side as well, a side that, thankfully, so far has not yet come forth.
But, should these conditions continue, someday soon the violent elements of both persuasions will find themselves on the same streets, and what will ensue will not be pretty.
Learn from history, or repeat it.

There is a new trend coming from the Left, and that is “joking” about murder. Apparently, there is nothing funnier than the thought of killing a conservative — these people should be ashamed of themselves.
According to The Federalist Papers, the Young Democratic Socialists, located at the University of Georgia, reacted to a publication where one of the INSTRUCTORS at the college stated that all Republicans need to be shot. The group’s response made us sick to our stomachs. The Young Democratic Socialists declared, “This is absolutely outrageous! House Republicans should NOT be shot! They should be guillotined.”
WOW, so apparently having different opinions means you deserve to get your head chopped off. Joke or not, it is disturbing to see this kind of material floating around already oppressed college campuses. As of now, if you are on the Right, it is difficult to be in most big-name college systems.
These schools are overrun by kids who have never had to work for anything, think the world owes them everything, and if you disagree you are probably a racist. The Left will use scare tactics, harass, and even assault people JUST for announcing a different opinion.
We have to wonder why this kind of talk is allowed through a school-sponsored group. The obvious answer is the instructors are JUST as biased and encouraged, if not created, this tweet. WHAT HAPPENED to our education system?
Colleges riddled by Left-wing hacks who want nothing more than to whine about how “Trump is not their president.” We have had ENOUGH of this sick behavior.
Kathy Griffin has become an amplifier for the rest of the Left is announcing how much they can’t stand the president or anyone who supports him. If you remember correctly — and we know you do, Kathy recently lost ALL of her jobs because she decided to pose for a picture of a severed, bloody prop of Donald Trump’s head.
Now everyone wants to be edgy, just like Kathy. We are living in strange times. We were under the impression that we live in the United States, not the Middle East. If the Left wants to act like the Muslim extremists they love so much, we should ship them over to live with them.
We have a feeling they would do just fine — aside from the fact that they are cowards AND don’t have any guns. We wouldn’t miss them though. Liberals can make all the threats they want from over there.
The one thing the Left fails to realize is that ISIS WILL behead them in short order. Liberals might feel cozy making empty threats over their smartphones, but if they were face to face with the real deal, their true colors would show.

Hit radio star and author Michael Savage has been open about his opinions on Liberals in the past. His listeners were shocked when he foretold the future on his show Tuesday night.
Savage discussed the impact that Democrats are having on our society. He cited the Kathy Griffin “beheading” controversy and also the Julius Caesar play in New York that shows a Trump lookalike getting brutally murdered. Next, Savage foresaw what would happen Wednesday morning, “Do you understand that there are people out there who are marginal, who are going to go off like a rocket and kill somebody?” (via World Net Daily)
This Wednesday morning, we all discovered that an enraged Bernie Sanders supporter went to a GOP baseball practice and opened fire. The shooter, later identified as James Hodgkinson, ended up critically injuring Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and four others. By the time it was all said and done, the police took Hodgkinson down.
Savage hit the nail on the head. The Left is becoming increasingly violent as time passes. Now they are trying to MURDER people simply for having different political views. It is unbelievable.
During the radio show Tuesday, Savage also said, “We are at a boiling point. There’s going to be a civil war.” He was referring to the difference between Democrats and Republicans and explained how Democrats are hostile and we need to be on guard.
It seems left-wingers have proven that they are not much different from ISIS. ISIS is also willing to blindly attack and kill for their belief system. It makes sense and would certainly explain the way the Left coddles them.
Blood is now on the hands of Obama and every liberal that allowed this behavior to continue unchecked. If you start ginning up people to a fevered pitch — we’re looking at you mainstream media — then you HAVE to expect people to react.
Not only are they encouraging this behavior, but the media is PROMOTING it after it happens. If our media is passing the message along that it is okay to hurt people based on their political beliefs, how do we respond? One thing we will NOT do is walk around with stupid signs that say “NOT MY MEDIA”. That is a fact.
Our liberties are being taken away from us one by one. Now we are supposed to sit back and get violently attacked — even though we can’t even SPEAK in public without harassment? Not going to happen. The Left is infringing on OUR liberties and the liberties of our children. Fear is not an option.
We will do everything in our power to stop innocent people from getting hurt by CRIMINALS throwing temper tantrums like little kids. People like Savage will continue to speak the truth, and we can start moving this country in a POSTIVE way. If liberals want to act like criminals, we will treat them that way. Any plot to murder based on politics gets you a guaranteed life sentence with no possible chance of parole. How about that?

Following the shooting of Congressman Scalise, some media outlets finally started paying attention to the increasing violence from the political left.
Vice ran the headline “Extremism Experts Are Starting To Worry About The Left” and even NPR asked if left-wing violence is rising.
Col. Shaffer pointed out how the MSM has ignored violent rhetoric such as ANTIFA’s attacks on Trump supporters, Kathy Griffin’s mock beheading of Trump and NYC’s modern-day Julius Caesar play that shows Trump being murdered.
Shaffer warned, “If the governments who are responsible for our common welfare and defense are shown to be ineffective, people on the opposite side are going to rise up.”
“If the government doesn’t stop violence from the left, you’ll see more violence on the right in retaliation. It’s inevitable,” he continued.

OK, they want to instigate violence. Before starting a fight, do reasonably intelligent bullies size up their opposition first?
Does anyone know the actual numbers of the Liberals, Bernie millenials, Occupy Wall Street crowd, and other leftist instigators?
The jury is out on registered Democrats, Republicans, and Independents because we can't trust the totals. Everyone knows the election was rigged, and somebody still lost. Not only the Presidential election, but Senate and House. The only way that could happen, is that there were more Conservative-minded than Liberal-minded, by a humongous margin. Not by what their registration said, but by how they voted. They didn't count on THAT many conservatives to show up and vote. Or Liberals voting Conservative. Not even their cheating was enough fraud to pull-off a win. Remember, they thought they were going to win right up to the very end. That's how far off their assumptions were.
So! How what percentage of Conservatives and Liberals are gun owners? How many of those will stand up to tyranny and violence? How many are military or retired military. How many are patriotic Americans and how many are just whiny troublemakers?
Let's just inspect the numbers of military and retired veterans. Does anyone think they will not stand up to violence at home? This doesn't look safe for the Snowflakes.
How many Liberal or Muslim instigators showed up to protest in DC anytime the bikers announced they were ALSO going to show up? I always saw plenty of bikers having a nice time, not much protesting going on.
What percentage of Conservatives and Liberals are gun owners? Don't bring a knife to a gunfight!
Do we have any math whiz types? I feel it's the same troublemakers belonging to multiple groups. It takes George Soro's check to get them to show up. Then, they don't know what they are protesting. What's with that?
From recent events, we can observe Conservatives to be highly "tolerant" of the instigators. The Conservatives don't have a history of violent behavior. They are usually ambushed though. But if violence was announced, what would really unfold?
Yeah, if anyone chooses to start violence, there might be a rude awakening.
Can anyone fill in the statistics?
To be fair, I know enough Liberals to have the opinion that they ALL don't have violence in their DNA. So it must be a very few that are making the threats. I surmise that only a small percentage of criminal leaning ones are making the noise. They are looking for trouble. I think they haven't done the math. The few troublemakers will show up, while millions of peaceful patriots and badass pissed-off Conservatives will stand up to them. It will not end well for the instigators. The Snowflake's moms will kick their ass!
