Statements from the Kremlin this morning:
- US airstrikes are agression against a sovereign nation, against international law
- Strikes were carried out on an invented pretext
- The US is trying to distract the world from the many civilian deaths in Iraq
- The strikes are a serious obstacle to the formation of an international coalition against ISIS.
- The Syrian army does not have chemical weapons
- The strike has done serious damage to US/Russian ties.

We never learn from history, this is more of the same old strategy that perpetuates an ideology we can't win against. Ever!!
I thought Trump was against entering the region that destabilized it in the first place..or so he insisted he did.
why not sanction Syrian oil? Where is the common sense strategy to empower "THEIR OWN" military? why are we dropping military weapons in neutral zones so ISIS can get to them, and for God sake, send aid?
Why? Seems logical since:
You've shut the doors to asylum, the refugees who were attempting to get away from this, the ones you offer no sanctuary to in the US?
You had little sympathy for the dead floating towards the shores after their attempts at escape a year ago...and NOW you see the horror???
You don't want their woman and children here, but see no logic in empowering their own people there???

Wait. Where are you reading that Putin was warned? Last night, it was being broadcast that only LOCAL SYRIAN BASED Russians were warned, and that Moscow officials including Putin were not. Has that been changed?

He wasn't the one we advised.
We advised some Russian general in charge of Syrian operations.
Because of Putin, the US does not have that kind of cozy protocol with him.
Putin was basically the reason why we were having to retaliate the Gas attacks, as he was the one that said he was personally taking the Chemical weapons out of the hands of Assad in a treaty he signed back in 2014.
Sure Putin wants respect, and we will not be giving him any, because at this moment, he is considered to be in violation of a United Nations American backed treaty.
So, Putin better STFU, or he'll be handed even more US and UN sanctions.

On the contrary Fish, it's the US who is in violation of international law by unilaterally attacking another sovereign UN member nation... Again.
Do you believe that Assad used chemical weapons? Why would he do that?

The same reason he did it for when obama drew that move able

I won't argue that.
But, what needed to be done- needed to be done- and it was done!
Why go to a politically ruined Congress that are nothing more than obstructionists today while playing politics.
Obama tried to follow the law and go that route and look at the result of that today.
He was damned if he did, and he was damned if he didn't.
Our military don't play politics, and they advised this president to go ahead and give the order, since he will also be damned if he does and damned if he didn't.
By taking this necessary emergency action many lives will be saved, we were able to take advantage of a much needed element of surprise, and we were able to set a precedent and fair warning for countries that use Chemical weapons in the future.
There will be no consequences for this much needed action, and there will be consensus with Congress, the United Nations, a majority of Americans, and a majority of people from nations around the world.

Do you believe that Assad used chemical weapons? Why would he do that?
Look! The military leaders in the Assad Regime have been long since out of control and long since been acting on their own without the approval of Assad or the Russians.
The chemical attack Tuesday could have been one of such acts by Syrian Military leaders who are nothing more than war criminals.

I think this is a dangerous move in many ways. First, we are intervening in what is essentially a civil war. Does the United States have that right? Second, did Congress approve this action? That's not really clear. Here's what Trump said:
“Tonight, I ordered a targeted military strike on the air base in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched,” Mr. Trump said in remarks at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. “It is in this vital national security interest of the United States to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons...Years of previous attempts at changing Assad’s behavior have all failed, and failed very dramatically,” the president said, referring to President Bashar al-Assad of Syria. “As a result, the refugee crisis continues to deepen, and the region continues to destabilize, threatening the United States and its allies.”
So, can anyone say whether or not this action will stabilize the region or lead to further destabilization? As we're already aware, there are always consequences, some of them unforeseen.

Expect further destabilization for sure, we should leave the area, sanction, send aide, support THEIR troops in supporting themselves, no weapons dropped down in 'neutral zones' for insurgents and ISIS to get, and stop dropping money as well, and open up to the suffering refugees we assisted in causing (because it's the right thing to do)
The definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

The question that begs is what effect it will have on ISIS, who according to independent studies have used chemical warfare 52 times on the battlefield.

Didn't the Russians get orders from superiors or report to their superiors when they are told to run?
There is no law supporting what trump did.
Trump needed a distraction from the investigation into his ties to Russia .
What better way to demonstrate his distance from the Russians. Russia probably has new warplanes ready to ro sell to Syria.
