It causes an epidemic of diabetes and causes people to crave food and get fat. Yes, you heard that right, it does not cause people to lose weight, but causes them to gain weight.

I like that idea. Somewhere along the line I was volunteered to pay for everyones irresponsibility, problems, laziness and stupidity..
There is a simple reason for that. If the lazy people are left to starve, sooner or later they will come for what you have. And in the US, the lazy people are well armed so if they are hungry enough they will have no problem killing you to raid your fridge.
Welfare in a capitalist system like the US is primarily a crime deterrent.

Guess you thought wrong! And you're wrong with regards to cost also!
There are almost 4 liters in a gallon! A gallon of milk and a gallon of Coke or Pepsi are about the same cost.
I drink milk in Tea during the winter months only and milk with cereal. Occasionally I'll have a glass of milk with warm chocolate chip cookies.
I don't drink water period! Unless it's a real hot day and the water is ice cold. In fact, it's been proven bottled water contains chemicals that are bad for you! And any f00l who trust tap water and the stuff they put into that are pretty foolish also! Well water can be just as deadly depending if its exposed to contamination such as dead animals, fertilizer or other such naturally occurring mineral deposits and such. You notice most people who drink well water at a young age are short and have weak bones.
Soda Pop isn't the greatest either but I drink this mostly and I stay away from any diet drinks as they are packed with sodium and artificial sweeteners that are known to give lab rats cancer. People talk like soda pop is so corrosive but truth is our stomachs aren't made out of steel so it's not the same. Our stomachs contain acids that would also eat thru steel much quicker. In my opinion the soda breaks down food and helps digestion whereas water does nothing of the sort. There are foods that go together much like pickles and hamburgers along with wine and Italian food or vinegar and deep fried foods.
I know someone in my family that has drank coke since forever and they are almost 90 years old! Even Lobo's idol Warren Buffet drinks a lot of coke but that's not really fair to mention given the fact he owns some 60 million shares of coke.
Still, what is good for you does not mean it's good for me.
And FYI Robot, anything outside of Coke or Pepsi is not really soda pop.. it's $hit! Perhaps Fago could be a 3rd place but even that's scraping the bottom of the barrel. Best to stick with Coke!

I might argue that crime is more rampant with elevated levels of social welfare. When kids don't think they have to stay in school and don't study hard, do drugs, and think that being a hoodrat is a good thing, then claiming welfare...is not a good attitude to have. Yes, actually, in the beginning coca-cola contained cocaine (from coco leaves), hence the name “coca”, but the Federal Government eventually stopped them from putting coca in the drink. Yes, manure (cow and chicken) makes very good fertilizer. And all you have to do is plow it under. No problem. And plants like it. Makes them grow like crazy. And if you are growing hydroponically, you soak the manure in water and use the liquid, which is called manure tea, as the liquid fertilizer. Plants like it, grow like crazy. And don’t knock it. After the Third World War, we will return to growing plants this way. Human waste is typically not used as fertilizer because of fear it may contain bacteria harmful to humans. But cow and chicken manure works good with no problems.

I drink the minimum RDA for milk. At least 2 cups a day. There's a method to my madness though.
I've always been lactose intolerant. So when I drink milk I cut a few milk farts.
Thing is? As I get older I'm more prone to heartburn (unless of course I get off my lazy *zz and walk my dogs or something).
My habit has always been to drink my pint of milk late at night. Helps me sleep as it does million of other Americans.
And when I go to bed is when heartburn will hit if and/or when it is building up.
But, ... AHA ... drinking my milk and cutting a few milk farts releases all the gas I may or may not have.
And so I sleep like a baby ... that has had his milk.

Had a nuc med test recently, gall bladder working 60%, Get injected, 1 hr pictures, Drink milk sit 1/2 hr then check, Got rid of milk just fine. Weird test. Hate that shit but was necessary cause of GB pain. Not to mention 4 broken ribs 2 weeks ago!

Filming undercover in East Timor in 1993 I followed a landscape of crosses: great black crosses etched against the sky, crosses on peaks, crosses marching down the hillsides, crosses beside the road. They littered the earth and crowded the eye.
The inscriptions on the crosses revealed the extinction of whole families, wiped out in the space of a year, a month, a day. Village after village stood as memorials.
Virgillo Celestino wrote that his father had survived the Indonesian invasion of East Timor in 1975, but he went on: “In August 1983, Indonesian forces entered our village, Kraras. They looted, burned and massacred, with fighter aircraft overhead. On 27 September 1983, they made my father and my wife dig their own graves and they machine-gunned them. My wife was pregnant.”
The priest of Kraras wrote on the final page: “To the capitalist governors of the world, Timor’s petroleum smells better than Timorese blood and tears. Who will take this truth to the world? … It is evident that Indonesia would never have committed such a crime if it had not received favourable guarantees from [Western] governments.”
As the Indonesian dictator General Suharto was about to invade East Timor (the Portuguese had abandoned their colony), he tipped off the ambassadors of Australia, the United States and Britain. In secret cables subsequently leaked, the Australian ambassador, Richard Woolcott, urged his government to “act in a way which would be designed to minimise the public impact in Australia and show private understanding to Indonesia.” He alluded to the beckoning spoils of oil and gas in the Timor Sea that separated the island from northern Australia.
There was no word of concern for the Timorese.
In 1993, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Australian Parliament estimated that “at least 200,000” East Timorese, a third of the population, had perished under Suharto.
Australia was the only western country formally to recognise Indonesia’s genocidal conquest. The murderous Indonesian special forces known as Kopassus were trained by Australian special forces at a base near Perth. The prize in resources, said Foreign Minister Gareth Evans, was worth “zillions” of dollars.
In my 1994 film, Death of a Nation: the Timor Conspiracy, a gloating Evans is filmed lifting a champagne glass as he and Ali Alatas, Suharto’s foreign minister, fly over the Timor Sea, having signed a piratical treaty that divided the oil and gas riches of the Timor Sea.

Two things: first, there are two kinds of capitalism: there is state capitalism and then there is private capitalism. But you never differentiate between the two. Second, Communism is not good, as you would have us all believe, it is evil. If you visit any Communist nation today, you will see that they are Hell holes, and that its citizens do not fare well. And concerning socialism, it does not work on Earth. Father Paul of Moll, a Benedictine priest who performed all manner of miracles, including raising the dead, and who have the gift of unusual knowledge, all of which came directly from God, said that Socialism was a passing fad on Earth. By contrast, nations in which private capitalism is respected, you know, free enterprise systems, work well. That is a large part of why America was once such a great nation. Liberals like yourself are trying to turn it into a socialist Hell hole, but the election of Donald Trump is throwing a monkey wrench into that plan.

Many people see red meat as a danger, but this is not necessarily so. Lean cuts of grass-fed beef with no antibiotics or hormones is what I always buy. Even in restaurants I will have grass fed burgers the vast majority of the time. Sure it's more expensive, but why put a price tag on your health?

Soda with sugar is not as bad for you as diet soda. And now days, they rarely use sugar in soda. It's high fructose corn syrup, which is one of the worst things you can put in your body.
Look in the soda isle. How many do you see made with sugar?

Those "bad chemicals" are also in the sugary pop. Then they pour in a ridiculous amount of refined sugar (poison) and high-fructose corn syrup (poison).
If you aren't aware that ingesting massive amounts of sugar is the number one thing you can do to give yourself diabetes, that's a very serious hole in your knowledge of nutrition. Did you not have at least a couple of days of this stuff in High School gym class?
The reason people try diet soda and then find themselves craving sugar is you are addicted to sugar! Sugar is a powerfully addictive substance, much like nicotine. When you try to break your habit, the DTs are going to hurt.

Two things: first, there are two kinds of capitalism: there is state capitalism and then there is private capitalism. But you never differentiate between the two.
No, there is one kind of capitalism. Capitalism is one man leveraging his wealth to lay claim to ownership of another man's work. That is it. Capitalism isn't trade, or owning your house, or a family farmer being paid for his milk. And it has nothing to do with forms of government (although in the US the capitalists do control the government.)
God commands men on Earth not to covet another man’s wife and another man’s goods. Does that sound to you like God is forbidding private capitalism here? Capitalism, in and of itself is neither good nor evil, but like everything else, it can be used for good or for evil. Second, Communism is not good, as you would have us all believe, it is evil. If you visit any Communist nation today, you will see that they are Hell holes, and that its citizens do not fare well. And concerning socialism, it does not work on Earth. Father Paul of Moll, a Benedictine priest who performed all manner of miracles, including raising the dead, and who have the gift of unusual knowledge, all of which came directly from God, said that Socialism was a passing fad on Earth. By contrast, nations in which private capitalism is respected, you know, free enterprise systems, work well. That is a large part of why America was once such a great nation. Liberals like yourself are trying to turn it into a socialist Hell hole, but the election of Donald Trump is throwing a monkey wrench into that plan.
What nations are you talking about here exactly? The US is the most right-wing, capitalist country in the developed world. Now for sure it works great for the capitalists, but I thought people like you were all in a fuss that the country is falling apart?
What country do you believe is a beacon of capitalist success? Japan? Massive welfare state. Germany? Bastion of super-strong trade unions. Australia? Switzerland? Canada? Way more socialist than the US. China? Still a communist command economy.

And home owners cannot hire someone to work for them (fixing the roof or whatever) without being accused of stealing their work? Get real.
