Romans 10:8-13
King James Version (KJV)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

More seriously---notice that the scripture that the OP quotes days we must "believe unto righteosness"---our faith must develop into righteous living. The Lutheran/Baptist attitide of "oh, I'm a believer, I'm saved, I can sin all I want and still get to Heaven" is, not only contrary to common sense but also is contrary to this particular Bible passage.

Stop it, Lud. You're a Christian, you claim. Try living by example yourself before attacking another Christian's behavoir --- and belief in their faith.
You're claiming to be a Christian of Catholuc faith; I am a Protestant Christian. It isn't your responsibility to judge; God did not leave you in charge. Address Christian issues without condemning my belief or stop posting in my threads. You have worn out your welcome with your constant hypocracy.

The Outlaws Prayer
Johnny Paycheck
You know, I worked the Big Packet show in Fort Worth, Saturday night,
We had all day Sunday to rest and relax, before I caught another flight.
So I decided to walk down town an' get myself a little fresh air.
Before long, I found myself in front of a big church on the corner of the square.
Boy, I could hear that singin' way out in the street, sure was a beautiful sound.
So I just walked up the steps an' opened the door an' started to go inside an' sit down.
But before I could, a young man walked over to me an said: "Excuse me, Sir,
"But I can't let you in with that big black hat, those jeans, that beard an' long hair.
So I just left, went back outside, sat down on that curb, an I thought to myself:
That's the house of the Lord. That guy's got the hell of a nerve.
Tellin' me I can't worship anywhere I please.
So right there, in front of that Church, I just knelt down on my knees.
I said: "Lord, I know I don't look like much, but I didn't think you'd mind.
"I just wanted to be with your people, Lord: it's been a long time.
"A while ago, a saw a wino over there in the alley, all bent over in tears,
"An' I thought how one stained glass window, from this Church, would feed his family for years."
"Then there's those fine cars parked outside: too many for me to count.
"Made me think how people walked for days to hear your sermon on the mount.
"Then there's those fine ladies in the choir, Lord, singin' like they really love it.
"Hell, last night, they were dancin' on the front row of my show: drinkin' beer, screamin: 'Sing
Shove It.'
"You know, even John the Baptist wouldn't be welcome in this place,
"With his coat made of Camel hair an' sandals on his feet an' a long beard on his face.
"You know, Lord, when you come back to get your children, an' take 'em beyond the clouds,
"To live forever in Heaven with you: well, I'd sure hate to be in this crowd.
"You know, Lord, I'm not perfect; some even call me no count.
"But I'll tell you: I believe a man is judged by what's in his heart, not what's in his bank account.
"So if this is what religion is: a big car, a suit an' a tie,
"Then I might as well forget it Lord, 'cause I can't qualify.
"Oh, by the way, Lord, right before they kicked me out, didn't I see a picture of you?
"With sandals an' a beard. Believe you had long hair too."
"Well, this is Paycheck, signing off.
"I'll be seein' you Lord,
I hope."

Whose behavior did I attack?
And I see plenty of people with jeans, beard, and long hair at Mass every Sunday. In the Catholic Church we don't care about superficial things like that.

Catholics have mass every day, LUD. Not just on Sunday. A devout Catholic goes to mass every day.
Worldwide.
Same subject, every church, around the world.

How can Ludlow not judge when this is the policy of his sect?:
"Outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation." -Ludlow
Unless you believe what Ludlow and his sect say you must believe, you're doomed. Is that judgment? That's why his sect killed so many in the Dark Ages. If they refused to believe as his sect ordered them to believe, they may as well be dead here and now anyway, was the sect's reasoning.
It's just like Jesus said:
"...the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service." (John 16:2)
Jesus predicted that Ludlow's sect would be murderous, in time. And they were. And their attitude of superiority has not changed one bit as is exemplified by "Outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation."

We do have Mass every day for those who wish to go but attendance at daily Mass is not required. Attendance at Sunday Mass is, unless the person is sick or has some other good reason.

Dress tends to be far more casual at Catholic Sunday services than Protestant Sunday services, but dress at daily Mass is even more casual.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
That's what Paul says, anyway. It's a doctrine of men.
Here's what Jesus says about it, if anyone cares:
"Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)
So Paul says, walk around calling on the name of the Lord, and Jesus says, not everyone who does that will be saved.
I think Matthew 7:21 could easily be paraphrased to:
"Not every one who [calls upon the name of the Lord], shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)
And Jesus further says:
"For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." (Matthew 12:50)
So, according to Jesus, YOU MUST DO THE FATHER'S WILL to be saved. "Calling on the name of the Lord" to be saved might work, but it's a doctrine of men. Why not just follow Jesus and strive to do the Father's will?
But who wants to follow Jesus when you can follow a mere man that Jesus never met and never heard of and who was not one of Jesus' 12 personally chosen and trained apostles? It's easier just to walk around calling Jesus' name out than it is to actually DO something like the Father's will.
How did Christianity come to the point where the teachings of a mere man, Paul, are preferred over the teachings of the Son of God?

Yawn
Do you find what Jesus said you must do to go to heaven, the Father's will, boring?
Read this carefully and slowly please:
"Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)
From the Son of God, what you must do to enter the kingdom of heaven is the Father's will.
Why would you prefer Paul's teachings to Jesus' teachings? Are you crazy?
The Son of God came here to "bear witness unto the truth," and you yawn and look to Paul for your salvation answers instead of to Jesus alone. That's what indoctrination does.
