FINALLY got the lawn mower back.
FINALLY got the grass cut!
We no longer have the crappiest lawn in town.
Stayed one step ahead of the Weed Inspector.
Unfortunately it died again when I tried to start it later. I'm taking it elsewhere this time.

I was awesome!
I got to impress everyone with my electrical skills by fixing the doorbell. The seller had installed a new wireless doorbell because they couldn't get the old one to work. The new one they installed didn't work either (probably because of a bad battery).
I found the old doorbell button to be the problem, but, it was built into one of those old through-the-wall mailboxes. I had to remove the front of the box and then remove the button. The brass connections were all tarnished and not allowing continuity. I cleaned all of the connections and told my daughter that, with any luck, not only would the doorbell work but that the button would even light up when not in use. I got everything rewired but then couldn't get it to go back together properly. Someone had wrapped the old cloth wound wire in some kind of wad of red electrical tape that had petrified. I had to undue all of my work, slice off the wad of red (now rock), reinsulate with a very small amount of black electrical tape, reinstall the button, rewire and then remount the front of the mailbox. I then removed the new button so that there was once again only one door bell.
Looking like a hero to your daughter is a good day.

It rained today.
I hate rain...
I put some of my plans on hold.
I was NOT in a good mood at all.
All of my ponies lost in the Preakness.
The best thing is that I didn't get to place my bet. So, I lost NO money.
And my hockey team won the 5th game of the series.
This helped elevate my bad mood.
So, I am better now.
