I'm no Trump fan and I didn't vote for him, but I believe there are very powerful interests among the aristocracy that absolutely don't like him. They best take the pulse of the people who voted for him before they try to forcibly remove him from office. When Nixon was forcibly removed(impeached) those who voted for him and the populace in general were in favor of his removal. They best make sure that is the case if they try to do that with Trump. From what I can tell his base is still in his favor.
The U.S. corporate media has proven without question that they are completely out of touch with the people evidenced by being so absolutely and completely off on their predictions. A miscalculation here could cause upheaval of such we haven't seen in this country since the civil war.

Trump admitted this morning that he spilled classified information to the Russians at the meeting. He said he did it because he felt like it, and believes he's above those kinds of considerations. Are you calling him a liar?
What you see as a problem with journalism isn't actually that at all. 90% of the problem is that the facts are so heinous, they seem like they must be fictitious.
I mean, no President would
- fill his cabinet with gangster-capitalist investment banksters, men who have current huge lawsuits against their new department and a clear agenda to destroy it, etc
- bring in a neo-Nazi tabloid website kingpin as his key strategic advisor, then bench him after a couple of months and replace him with Trump's kids (who have even less experience than Bannon),
- fire the head of the FBI while he has the President under investigation for Treason (Nixon did it, but who thought we would see it again?),
- gut access to healthcare for millions of Americans, act in blatant conflict of interest to enrich himself by transferring his personal tax burden to the middle class,
- fly off to his private golf course every weekend to offer pay-for-play access (at double the normal rate because hey, you get a chance to influence the POTUS!),
- charge the US taxpayers rent for his own bedazzled apartment building, insult most of the country's international allies (but flip-flop back and forth between loving and hating them on a weekly basis),
- hand over classified information to your most dangerous enemy,
- make tweets at 3am that sound like they came from a crazy person,
- use an appearance at a prayer breakfast to diss a Hollywood competitor's TV ratings,
- brags about being able to freely rape women and walk in on teen pageant girls getting changed because his money makes him just that privileged,
- talks about wanting to sleep with his own daughters and other underage girls,
- encourages violence at his rallies, and offers to pay the legal bills for anyone caught assaulting someone there (as long as they support Trump of course),
- has a business history full of fraudulent mistreatment of suppliers and customers alike (including settling a huge fraud suit during the campaign over his phony Trump University),
- signs executive orders without reading them,
and on and on...
Except that we're watching it all happen! Life, in this case, is stranger than fiction. The reason you are noticing that the news suddenly sounds like a tabloid, is that Trump's life is out of a tabloid!
When he was known mainly as the star of "The Apprentice", it made some kind of sense for him to be... Let's say "eccentric" to be kind. As POTUS? Come on. Trump and you poor suckers who voted for him have turned your country into a full-on circus. At least own it.
