Just today in the Ohio river valley there are 29,000 job opportunities that have an average salary of $55,000.
Hourly jobs are too numerous to count.
Hiring managers are reporting that their employees only stay a few months then find a job that pays more money. This is forcing companies to increase their starting wages.
Some fast food restaurants off the bus line are starting new hires at $11 an hour.

FBN’s Charles Payne: Trump Economy is Smoking and “Nobody Will Talk About It” (VIDEO)

ECONOMY
(Gateway Pundit) – The Trump economy is taking hold and it is on fire.
But liberal media will not report on it — And Republican Party is neutered weaklings.
Charles Payne at FOX Business News and economist Liz Peek discussed the roaring economic numbers today on FOX Business Network.
But the corrupt liberal media refused to report on this good news.
Charles Payne: So from housing to wages to corporate profits and investment, there are remarkable things that are happening to this economy and nobody will talk about it.”
Jobs in all sorts of industries stifled by the Obama Administration are making a resurgence due to their confidence in the Trump economy.
Coal mining, steel and oil are all on the extreme upswing.
The increase in jobs in these areas is impacting an increasing number of jobs and income in other areas like the restaurant business.
The Atlanta Fed reported that the GDP in the 2nd Quarter is expected to move above 4% for the first time in years.
None of this will be touched on by the liberal mainstream media (MSM).

Colorado which fortunately has a low unemployment, rate now has twice as many legal marijuana stores and medical marijuana dispensaries than they have McDonalds and Starbucks.
Employers are having a very tough time finding applicants who can pass drug testing.

The more intelligent approach would be to make drugs illegal as they should be including prescription opiates by doctors, except in extreme need cases.Doctors should be required to file a monthly report of each and every instance where they prescribed opiates

If your out looking for a job stop smoking the stuff until you find a job. As long as the job does not demand random testing or you have a workplace accident no one will be the wiser.
Some of these fools must think the drug test is a written test.

In the last five years, I was randomly tested three times, and my employer paid me basic $44/hr to and from the nearest clinic, thus, I either get shut down, or replace.
And it's not just my employer who demands it....their partners and third parties.
Again, their policies, their time and money.

About the only companies I know of that don't drug test are the ones that bring in a lot of temporary workers.
But even at that to get hired on full time a drug test is required.
There are good jobs out there waiting for people to take them.

The unemployment rate here is 4.1%. But that doesn't take into account those not looking for work for whatever reason.
Canada's unemployment rate is at 6.5%, however, "as a percent of population", more Canadians are working than Americans, and our economy isn't that great.
April 2017 Stats
Canada
Population........36,585,570 (worldometers)
Employed..........18,311.2 million
% of population employed..........50.4%
Full-time.........14,785.9 million
Part-time.........3,525.2 million, % of total employed; 19.5%
unemployed........1,265.0 million
Unemployment rate.......6.5%
http://www.statcan.gc.ca/daily-quotidien/170505/t001a-eng.htm
U.S. population........326,193,414 (worldometers)
Employed...............151,028 million
% of population employed..........46.5%
Full-time.............118,888 million
Part-time.............32,140 million, % of total employed; 21.3%
Unemployed...........7,910 million
https://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.a.htm
-----------------
In other words, if 50.4% of U.S. population was working
326,193,414 X 50.4% = 164,400,000
an additional 13.4 million Americans would be working
Mr. bad robot,

Do you now have a clearer picture of your employment situation, i.e., how bad it was, and still is?
In addition, if 50.4% of U.S. population was employed, your fiscal deficit would decrease by at least 40%.
The math;
an additional 13.4 million employed X an average annual income of $55,000 = $737 billion
$737 billion X 30% (income tax + FICA + Excise tax) = $221 billion excluding ripple effect

All of those numbers add up to be really no more than a bunch nonsense for the average person. The average person doesn't care. All they are concerned with is their employment situation.
One problem here in the US is a lot of people are not willing to move to where the jobs are at. Now that will change latter but for now folks are content to stay close to home.
I will stick my neck out and say about 65% of the college grads this year will move back to their home towns and most of them will move back in with their parents.
A lot of them won't get serious about finding a job until they have to.
But the way it looks now there are plenty of jobs. If someone wants to work there is a job to be had.

It's quoted in your BLS April/17 employment stats
https://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.a.htm
not in labor force......94.031 million
In Canada, our stats does not show "not in labor force", however, it shows;
"Population both sexes, 15 years and over"; 29,822.2 million
and Canada's seniors represent 15% of our population
Thus, 29.8 million minus 15% = 25.3 million working age 15 - 65
and 25.3 million minus total employed/unemployed (19,576.2 million) = 5.8 million not in the labor force
and based on a 10 - 1 Can/U.S. population ratio, it equates to 58 million of working age not in the labor force
Big difference.....94 million versus 58 million????????????
Thus, there is something definitely wrong among your 94 million not in the labor force

If you want to use the 94.6 million this is who is included.
86.8 million are either retired disabled in school or job training and or off work taking care of a family member.
Now we are down to 7.6 million. 5.7 million have searched for a job for over a year and have given up searching.
1.9 million no one knows.
So really we are only looking at 5.7 million people.

Does Canada have a welfare system ?
Provincially, YES
Federally, NO
However, we have a very generous federal Child tax Credit payable monthly
Example;
Single mom, two children under age 7 earning $15,000 full-time/part-time
Child tax credit; $11,000/12 = direct monthly deposit $916
Question: Is the Child tax credit Welfare? Most Americans would say NO

And in the U.S., the unemployment numbers among Blacks and Latinos are still high, and most of them are unskilled/uneducated.
Thus, perhaps a well taught infrastructure mega plan would benefit them if they know how to use a spade.

One of these days, the U.S. government will have to drastically increase Working Visas, skilled and unskilled, because the tax payers just can't keep on hauling an additional 6 million who doesn't want to work.
However, if you leave them behind, crime rates will increase.
It's time for a serious and effective kick a** law.

6 million is not that bad. Considering all of baby boomers are retiring.
6 million, very significant
1. Your Labor force participation rate formula;
unemployed + employed/Civilian noninstitutional population X 100
Rounded off at
8 million unemployed + 151 million employed/253 million CNP X 100 = 62.8%
Now add 6 million employed, and subtract 6 million from CNP X 100
8 million + 157 million/247 million off X 100 = 66.8%
https://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.a.htm
NOTE: Very significant because American Conservatives have been complaining about a low labor force participation rate, and now, you and I know why.
2. GDP Growth
Formula; 1 dollar spent generates 2 dollars
6 million X average annual income of $55,000 + 200% = 990 billion
Current GDP; 18.5 trillion
Thus, an increase of approx. 1/2 of percent
3. Minimum Revenues, Federal only, no ripple effect
6 million X average annual income of $55,000 = 330 billion
330 billion X 30% (income tax + FICA + Excise) = $100 billion
Ripple effect; approx. $300 billion Federal/State/Local revenues

Your calculation is wrong. The 6 million is not a fixed number it's variable. Also these people are still spending money.
What money they spend is in question. Is it welfare savings a combination of the two? Some work under the table while collecting warfare.
In any case they are still spending money.
