And the bleeping expletive deleted bleeper blew the save on Sun and the game went 15 innings before we lost. then on M he blew another save just to show us that Sun wasn't a fluke. I remember a game with Cleveland in the 80s, we both stunk. Twins won but it was something like 16-14. Ugly game from the pitching point of view. If you liked offense then it was great, but neither team could hold a lead that day!

I've seen some atrocious performances still get someone a win. I can't think offhand of an example, except I think for starting pitchers Lester and Hamels each had at least one game each this year where they gave up a ton of runs and still got a win. (I remember only because I had them on a fantasy team).
A lot of relievers pitched terribly and got wins too. Seems like a few gave up 4 or so runs in an inning.
