I come from a line of working women unlike East.
We don't sit around waiting on a man to pay everything knowing it will be court ordered to us the day we have to divorce.
My mother is around east age 56. She spent ten years in the Army after this she worked at a hospital while she went to school to obtain her bachelor's in Nursing. She is now a RN (Registered Nurse) making over $30/hr and will retire with a nice sum.

someone like her would never get in one of my rental units. Too many things would get destroyed while they were there. Also I don't wait for 6 months to get my money.
Yep. Four kids bouncing off the walls. You can tell she isn't watching them so marker and crayons all over the walls. Spills and stains in the carpet. The only person who would rent to her is someone owning a dump that can't be damaged any worse than it already is.

smart humans single or together have a tack board or marker board in the [kitchen] area with bill(s) to be paid, already paid and need removed, and ones you want to pay 1 payment plus half payment.

Very few men that I've met since my divorce have their house paid for.
It's financially smart not to pay off your house early. You're tying up capital that could be used on other investments.
There's nothing like the feeling of living in a paid off home. The first of the month is now a happy time! (Insert Steve Martin's "Happy Feet" dance here.)

Stl people don't understand once the home is paid for life becomes so much easier. The money that once went to the bank can be spent on fun things or saved. The problem now days most people are refinancing for fun things and the home never gets paid for.
Kandy when you have a home paid for that your kids will always be able to come back to then we will talk. You can't take care of yourself and will become a burden on your children.

Statistically they do compared to men...so it's a statistic rather than a thought. Women statistically more likely to be in personal debt and to a higher amount than men, they also statistically are more likely than men to have bad/poor credit.

It's also pretty narcissistic to assume the parents teachings are good ones and without fault!.
Your kids might be smarter than you, better at critical thinking etc I know I'm smarter than my parents and with more experience having lived in multiple countries and they lived within 10 miles of where they were born their whole lives...along with the limited education their generation got.
Again, 99.9% of humans are forgotten after a generation or 2...sure their name may be passed down to grandkids, great grandkids...but their life, their achievements, who they were, what they did...not so much...maybe 1 or 2 stories about wen grandad fought a bear...to cover and commemorate a lifetime.

A few of those are highly questionable...the stat I saw on cheating was that women do it more for example...a recent one I saw for example was 50% of women in a relationship have a guy on a backburner in case the relationship fails...
Same for beating partner...men are just FAR LESS likely to report it when their woman hits them...

That's what I was thinking jer.
Poor people aren't humble from what I see. They did something stupid like buy an expensive car that got repoed, spent student loan money getting drunk and partying, refinancing for expensive vacations till the can't make their mortgage.
When I was 20 I worked at a bakery. The other women were talking about the nice things they had bought. I was standing there thinking they had to be making more money than I was. A few minutes later the subject changed to debit collectors. One said if I don't have the money I just can't pay...Like a big screen tv was necessary Nothing humble about it.

Anecdotal again but ever woman I've been with has hit me (can't blame them, I'd hit me too ). It's "acceptable" for them to punch and slap...socially too to an extent!
Who hasn't see a woman slap a man in the bar etc and had a laugh about it...switch that around though and witness a dude slapping a woman in a bar and the bouncers/barstaff/other guys will be all over him.
Double standards...nothing wrong with them...men accept the ones in favor of women, women just need to accept the ones in favor of men, then the world would be a much more peaceful place.
