first your topic is in poor taste.
you're asking women if they would think less of their man for him not being able to stop something that's not within his power. nobody can fault a person for that. you know that.
there are only 2 ways he would have "failed" to protect her.
It wasn't within his power
or he allowed it without a fight which I doubt any even a half decent man would do.
