The reason Trump would not ban countries like Pakistan or Saudi Arabia was because they are of economic value to America. Pakistan provides America access to central Asia which allows them to import and export on a cheaper rate. If they banned Pakistan and Pakistan did the same, then America would have lost billions of dollars. Besides, Saudi Arabia provides oil that Americans needs. While you might think the ban sounds good, unfortunately it does little to protect our own citizens due to the fact the ban only affected 7 out of some 50 predominantly Muslim countries.
