Basically he is 28 and we dated before 2.5 years ago but broke up.

He lives like 40 mins away but I don't drive so only way I could see him is get driven to his early in the morning by my mum who works near where he lives. Or take a train which I won't do (anxiety)
BUT
he is obsessed with wanting me to go over his house and I'm like, well no that is inappropriate for a first 'date'. So I ask him to come down here but he won't drive and he could go by train but won't because basically he is being a stubborn a** and won't unless I go back to his.
I said we could go to the shops or movies if he comes down but he just won't.

Keeps saying he wants 'privacy' and doesn't want to be around other people. Wants me to be at his house cuddling and watching movies. And I was like, I'm not a booty call. And he says he knows I'm not but it's pretty damn obvious IMO just WHY he wants all this 'privacy'.

Says he is super lonely and depressed (cos he is lonely) YET YET, won't come and see me to hang out at the shops or go to movies???
Seems inconsistent to me.

Is he just trying to manipulate me to do what he wants or what? kinda seems like it.
Says it's my 'turn' to go see him. AHA good one.

If he really was so lonely or even 'loves' me like he says and 'wants me so bad', wouldn't he be ok with coming down here just to see me at the shops or go to the movies?
I think he's full of shjt.

You sure have "dated" a lot of guys to only be 24.
Seems they are just using you for sex, oral sex and free nude web chats.

No doubt. Girls in the USA that have dated as many guys as you have 4 kids already by your age, or several abortions. Slutty b*tches this side of the pond.

Anyway, it's not gonna last long term with the guy and you intuitively know it, so why bother.

Got a figure like a pin-up
Got a figure like a doll
Don't care if you think I'm dumb
I don't care at all
Candy bear, sweety pie
I wanna be adored
I'm the girl you'd die for

I chew you up and I'll spit you out
'Cause that's what young love is all about
So pull me closer and kiss me hard
I'm gonna pop your bubblegum heart

Well...a person has to be remotely happy within themselves to begin with....if not, no one can make them happy, unless just temporarily.

That's why I think only mikey and korbyn would be compatible with her.

Those two dudes, seem to be so unhappy too.

^^^^^^that sounds mighty contradicting.

you refer to quality guys....yet consider a woman's looks to be the only quality thing she needs to land a quality guy.???

Quality guys tend to want quality women, who don't just depend upon their looks to get by on.

Lets face it...that's about she has to offer....so...lets toss out that idea.

Lets not use that word.

I wouldn't call a woman a c*nt on a dating site forum.

and it is a good point.

A quality guy wants a quality woman, and if her only attribute is looks, that doesn't constitute a quality woman.

Unfortunately, there are some woman who think their mere presence as being female is all they need...or their looks....and that stems from their initial beginnings in life teaching them this and that needs to change.

^^^^it needs to change for their sake too....because this mindset is why so many of their relationship fails.

You can't have a person with that kind of mindset, actually giving as much as they expect to get...and if a relationship gets that out of balance....its doomed to fail eventually.

Well, if I remember correctly, the op is in college. She is still young so hasn't had time to accomplish the things those of us over 40 have accomplished. Men are very superficial. Of course the guy would like a rich woman who is a great cook. But lets face it. If she isn't packaged right he doesn't want her. Like the op said, lots of guys tried to treat her well.

I went out this weekend. I had an offer from a loser. He wanted me to drive to his house and lay around in his bed. I went for the guy who asked for a proper date.

He doesn't seem to be able to follow your lead and meet you for the movies.

I'd forget about it.

Really, if he's not more interested than that WHY BOTHER?

Remember why you broke up with him 2 1/2 years ago.

Dr Laura said dating is the time for you to figure out if you want to marry this dude. Sounds like a divorce in the making if you marry him.

You know I'm no feminist, but it would increase your independence tremendously if you would learn to drive.

If you have anxiety about that too perhaps you should just forget guys and get the therapy or medications that you need to properly function.

I know guys sure don't like women who complain too much, million. We find it just as annoying when women complain all the time as you do when some guy does it.

If I want to hear complaints I'll spend more time with my father.

Yes, yes yes! Dump him! He sounds like a jerk. It would be different if he weren't trying to drive you crazy for his own amusement. Dump him! Surely you can do better than this!
