The mainstream media is not used to broadcasting this kind of blunt truth, especially not from the mouth of a liberal.
“Drop that impeachment talk right now!” exclaimed FOX News contributor and liberal Geraldo Rivera on FOX & Friends. “It just wastes the nation’s time. There was no obstruction of justice.”
Former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony was so damning that not even liberals can continue to press the fake Russian collusion narrative.
Geraldo Rivera made the comments the day following James Comey’s testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee hearing into Russian collusion with the Trump campaign during the 2016 General Election.
Comey admitted before the nation that President Trump is not and has never been under investigation. Comey also admitted that President Trump never obstructed justice.
Instead, Comey implicated himself as the source of classified materials that were released to The New York Times immediately after he was fired by Trump.
Additionally, Comey revealed that the Democrats were the only group that interfered in the 2016 election — not the Russian government.
Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch is accused of obstructing justice and interfering with the criminal investigation into the activities of Hillary Clinton. Comey admitted that Lynch asked him to refer to the investigation of Clinton as a “matter” to downplay the investigation’s significance. In effect, Comey admitted to lying to the American people to help the Democrats win an election.
Geraldo concludes that President Trump was ultimately exonerated by the testimony, but the special investigation will continue and may result in charges being laid against former national security advisor Michael Flynn.
Flynn failed to disclose a meeting he had with the Russian ambassador on behalf of the Trump transition team. The conversation was benign and normal for a transition team and Trump believes Flynn did nothing wrong. We agree.
But Democrats are out for blood. They have risked their reputation on a witch hunt and will be happy to feast on even meager scraps connecting Trump to Russia.
