Owner of the Trump Truck (now being re-designed into a more general purpose “American Freedom” truck), and co-inventor of the American Freedom Keepers, along with David Fry. Beavers spends all of his money traveling around the country to go to events where he can hand out bumper stickers. He is nominally employed selling firewood, but most of his activities since late 2016 seem to revolve around Trump and so-called “Free Speech” rallies. After going to Berkeley on 4/15, he had his nose broken in the melee, and then used his Facebook page to threaten and doxx protesters who had nothing to do with his injury. Beavers has been arrested multiple times for Arson, Burglary, Malicious Mischief, Theft, and Assault, and he is a felon, thereby making it illegal for him to carry firearms.

People who are trying to get by with something are the people filing off serial numbers.
Guns are one such thing whose ownership requires liability for it, such as an automobile, or a dangerous dog! (No! Dogs do not have serial numbers and I did not mean to imply)
But, the only way to hold people liable for Automobiles is to require automobiles to have serial numbers which are registered which can be traced to owners.
Guns should be no different. Guns should require registration just as in automobiles.
That way when guns end up in the hands of someone not properly authorized to have a gun, the person that the gun is registered to can be traced and investigated as to how it ended up in the wrong hands.
That is the best way to keep people from selling weapons to unauthorized individuals.
When you sell your car, a tax affidavit is filled out, and the automobile has to be registered in the new owners name. A change in Ownership of weapons should be handled in the same process.
So, unless you are willing to make the case that automobiles should not be registered, let's not try to have a double standard by saying that guns should not.
Gun registration only makes good sense!

I think the kit is like $80, and most parts you need are cheap and readily available. No serial number at all. And just wait until 3d printing advances further. How in the world are you going to keep track of guns when making one is as easy as hitting ctrl-p?
Eventually we are going to have to accept that there are dangerous things in the world, and part of being a free country is exposure to these dangers. You can be free, or you can be safe, but you can never be both.

If you follow the laws when selling your gun the gun then is transferred from you to the new owner. Same as a car.
If you don't follow the laws the gun remains in your name.
No matter how many laws we have some people will go out of their way to avoid the laws.
More laws are not needed. We need to enforce the current laws which we don't always do.

In a civil war, it won't be just President Trump and his supporters who are under deadly threat.
Conservatives are not trying to start a civil war like you Democrats are, but if you start one, you will rue the day you ever did.
