Just because My antipsychotic makes me pretty much unable to feel love and I think as a result it's made me not really give a crap about being with someone/anyone. and for some reason or other, I have little desire to sleep with people. I thought it was because of the pill but now I'm off it and I still don't really want to so lol I was a lot more miserable when I could feel love though so I guess it is an improvement

But for various reasons (mostly my fault, sometimes not) things always ended in pain. And there came a point where something broke, or changed inside me, like flipping a switch, and suddenly I didn't need love or anyone anymore and it was a great relief. It was a real blessing to me. But as time rolled on, yeah its like there came a bit of a void inside me. Not that I had a big problem with that, but it began to effect personal interaction skills. I can only compare it to feeling like (as time went by) being less than "human" and more like something else, like an alien or something. Different. It wasn't a huge problem though and much more convenient to deal with than needing to be normal. But then came another time when I slowly and gradually found a balance of a sort. There's more than one type of love.

Love from a scientific point of view is nothing more than ADDICTION to PLEASURE (be it physical or emotional). So not feeling love isn't necessarily a bad thing. Love can be pretty dangerous. 2. There are really only 2 reasons for coupling. A. Procreation B. Survival That's not to say that coupling with someone is necessary to achieve either, just that those are generally the bottom line reasons that men and women enter into long term relationships. That said, if you have no plans or intention of having children and can.survive well enough on your own or without a mate, then there's little need/reason to seek one out.
