Wussification in some cases starts out so subtle then "bam" there ya are. Then you have parents who hold their children unaccountable for anything and expect nothing out of them. For instance, mowing, cleaning the dishes, taking out the garbage, doing no more than staying on their precious phone at all times, taking no for an answer, parents not saying NO, etc.. . Parents such as this should have never been allowed to breed. It's bad for America

No. Not going to some beauty shop. That's for females. My buds are country boys who love fishing, hunting, camping, riding horses, sports, etc.. . They don't do all that wussy stuff. We enjoy sunrises and sunsets as much as anyone but don't get all butthurt over silly stuff. I think the world is way too sensitive. Has been for a long while.

Saw one like that screaming in the shopping cart the other day.  If I'd even thought about acting like that my mother would have set me straight in a hurry. Now they call all forms of discipline "child abuse"!  What kind of a father could the guy be if the kids are running the show? I wonder if he caved in after I left and got the miserable, spoiled brat whatever he was pouting for. Doesn't matter how often you say NO if you cave in at the end.

I'm not talking about beat on your chest, macho BS, just accountable for our own actions. If you messed up something say "I messed this up." There's a syndrome for everything. Treat a woman with all due respect and treat people with all due respect. This idea of giving your children what you didn't have is silly. Heck we all had what we needed and some of what we wanted for the most part. Teach kids to earn what they have. Accept no bad behavior without consequences. It's a teaching thing. The worst punishment for kids nowadays is taking away their phone for a week. 7 days. No exceptions. We've gotten away from this kind of discipline

I think it just shows in the DH app if a post has been flagged. I don't know if it shows a thread being flagged. The opening post could be flagged. If the browser is used rather than DH app, flagging doesn't show.

I'm sure you've noticed, over the years, that every older generation thinks "these kids today" are messed up. My mom couldn't stand it when my brother had long hair. Those damned long haired hippies. All generations can find fault with the newer generations, it's normal.

Wasn't about to let my son become a wussie, even though I was a single mom. Had him in every sport at a young age, then he chose wrestling as his favorite sport. He made it to states twice. He's been working since he was 16, and works his a** off now doing landscaping. I DO make him pay rent though. He's gotta know there are NO free rides

I myself don't care for profanity, especially excessive. I've never been one to speak that way. I don't whine about it. Hearing it is a part of life. I hear it enough at work, etc. But nothing is wrong if a person doesn't like profanity.
