They also lose smaller things, and win bigger things. Losing an election here, or there, pales in comparison to the Historical significance of passing something like same sex marriage across thee nation, in a way that will stand for a long time beyond the deaths of the politicians involved in supporting, or opposing, it. Then there were the 54 votes they won to keep Obamacare in place against GOP efforts to overturn the will of the people. Electing the first black President, re-electing the first black President, legalizing marijuana, and legalizing same sex marriage, are History making epochal successes which dwarf any successes the GOP has had in the last 100 years....or will have in the next 100 years. Repubtards brag about winning a do nothing Senate seat, or a soon to be ended Psuedo-Presidency, but have done little else in a long time...apart from losing war after war, and cutting taxes on the rich.
