Its actually easy. If your bloated with too much gas in you be patient and do motions to burp it out. Then take a few slow deep breaths, exhale and hold as long as you can inhale tiny bits hold exhale hold.. works everytime. It takes longer if your full if your full and bloated but dont get mad and panic, just work that process it never fails

My mom used to make me stand behind her and hold her ears shut while she slowly drank a water or Alka Seltzer.

Dude that has nothing to do with hiccups. Hiccups are caused by diaphragm contractions not bloating.

Press on a pressure point. Had a professor (who was also a chiropractor) tell me if you press the area behind your earlobes it sends a signal to your vagus nerve which is connected to your diaphragm area.
No clue if it works. Never tried it, or cared to try it. I always go with the hold your breath technique, which normally works just fine.
