Where ever I can get my hands on them...I really like when the local library, sells their old books,I can get novels for .50,plus I like the way the books feel ( it sounds weird ,but the feeling of so many ppl. holding and reading this book, it's cool)

I usually start at my local library. A quarter a book. I use paperback swap but can't order books until someone orders from me. I use Barnes and Nobles, Amazon.com and Books A Million as last resorts. I have bought books at a thrift store. I also use Dollar General and Dollar Tree for low cost new books.

Since I retired I am reading too many books to pay for new editions anymore and there is the greatest little used bookstore in downtown Lakeport. Still, am spending 40 bucks a month or more. I need to see what those library sales are like as suggested here.
I live in an rv campground now and when I finish a book or movie, I add it to the little "lending library" I started in the laundry room. Other people are contributing now but I read faster than the new ones come in. Right now, my favorite genre is historical fiction but I read everything - sf, autobios, humor, mysteries - my snobby ex called me a "book wh*re" and said I'd read matchbook covers if nothing else was available. She had my number.

Amazon.com for ebooks. I have bought more ebooks in the last nine months-since getting a Kindle 3G-than I bought paper books in stores like Barnes & Noble in 10 years before that.

IF I buy them, I get them at secondhand stores like Abbey Ann's or the Goodwill. If I'm wandering in Borders, though, and the book is something I've wanted for awhile & it's on sale lol I'll buy it there.
