I was wondering what your dream date be. I am actually tired of the boring dates. I actually had a different first date. It was awesome. You won't believe this....
We went to a wedding. It was his friends wedding. It was awesome!!!!! Had the best time! 3 to 11 they had the hall. We danced all night long....We had a great table...Great bunch of people. I won the centerpiece. I had a great date....We went out again, and again....The first date set the stage.....
So what would your dream date be? I went to a wedding on my first date....never would of thought, but incredible....as long as it wasn't mine....

i put a lot of thought into this...truthfully, i don't impress easily
i dunno, maybe growing up a tomboy...seen, done, heard it all
i guess my dream date would be..just be yourself, don't try to impress me w/ fancy talk, fancy dinners..i love shooting hoops (haven't done it in awhile, might be rusty) you understand what i'm saying..my idea of a dream date would be like hanging w/ my best friend...sharing a cup of coffee, down at the little league park...it's all good. i'm not very high maintence.
oh yeah, you have to make me laugh and you have to be able to take some serious ribbing.
i love talking smack
or you could take me to a sports event, if you want to take me SOMEWHERE

I think another dream date would be to take a ride on spirit of Boston and have dinner on there....I think that would be awesome!!!! Looking up at the stars over the deck, your date holding you and if you connect kissing on the deck or dancing w/ the stars....

I had a date once where a guy came to pick me up...didn't tell me where we were going...just told me to be dressed comfortably...bring a sweater. In the back of his truck was a telescope,picnic basket,cooler and blanket. It was in the middle of summer and the night was warm and cloudless. We drove for about an hour until he pulled off onto a road that led into some woods...then to a small grassy clearing. He took out the blanket and laid it out in the middle of the clearing...set up the telescope on it's tripod...brought out the cooler and picnic basket that had a bottle of wine...some exotic cheeses and crackers...fruit and chocolate. He was a cholcolate freak. He left his truck doors open and played some romantic music and soon after the sky was lit up with the most amazing display of comets you could imagine!!! We both took turns looking through the telescope. Had the most stimulating conversation until the wee hours of the morning. Then he took me to breakfast. It certainly was a night I'll never forget!!

kml....never been to that part of Canada, you'll have to write and tell us all about it....
I would also love to try skiing and then snuggle up in the ski lodge drinking hot chocolate by the fire looking out at the skiiers coming down the hill.....I think that would be so romanitic. We also could go tubing too. Just the thought of it snowing at the time and watching it hit our faces and kissing and him whiping the snow of my cheek as he went to kiss me would be so beautiful......

it was almost twenty years ago but i remember everything being so clean and fresh and cozy...it was spring and flowers...i was in love...oh shit, maybe that was it.
no, seriously, i just remember being on a tour bus..and everything was so pretty
and there was a horse drawn carriage ride and the guy pulled over..he gave us a ride for free
the people were so friendly
i think it was the only place in the world, i ever thought i could live there
but see i'm a bostonian and i love boston, born and bred
you can take this girl out of the city, but you can't take the city out of this girl
i can't sleep when it's quiet.
toronto is beautiful too, montreal is busy but i loved it there too
the only place in canada, i wasn't crazy about was quebec city...the rudest people in the world (sorry, if i offend anyone...but they were

I'm with you K! I lived in Halifax, NS for 5 years and then in Newfoundland for 12 years. Those Canadians have pride where they live and its always kept clean. Lots of romantic getaways and things to do there too. I dream of going back again!!!

My dream date would be dinner and drinks at a really nice restaurant. (Kent's in Swansea, MA would work nicely.) Then we would go over to the bay and walk along the sand and sit and watch the stars and listen to the waves, wrapped in a blanket if its cold. We could pack a small radio so we could listen to music, and perhaps even dance on the beach. Afterward, we could stop for one last drink before I bring the girl home.
I know it sounds typical and boring, but it would give us a lot of time alone to talk and get to know each other.

Not boring dates we do that in real life, we date toads, we look at our watches, we wished we stayed in our pj's, ate popcorn and popped in a movie instead.
So dream, pretend you have money and a handsome guy or gal to go out with.....
I have a handsome guy wants to take me out...met him on here so can't pick me up, which I would like....but cyber space is dangerous so I would have to meet him someone where so I would say how about a ski lodge. We are going to dream it is winter...I said we are dreaming... We are by the fire at the ski lodge having dinner & a glass of wine, watching all the snow bunny's come down the hill. He is holding me tight because I have a little shiver because the door keeps opening and shutting from the little skiers and people who have been on the tubes sledding up and down the hill. We both look at eachother and say "won't to try it" and we head to the ticket line. We buy tickes to go tubing....We race up the hill where the tubes are, grab on to the rope where they pull you up, and away we go.....We race down the hill, tip over laughing with snow all in our faces. He's rubbing it off mine and we are kissing at the same time....
We do this atleast a hundred times....We are cold, wet and then choose to go back into the cabin for something hot to drink and toast our feet by the fire. There are other couples doing the same thing.
What a dream!!!!!! There I dreamed NOW I just have to find that special dream date!!!!

Basketball, you nearly described one of my novels (I am a writer) that was titled "Vermont Fantasy." I wrote it about four years ago to impress a lady (the novel did, I failed). Too bad about the age difference, can you meet me halfway? LOL.
My new fantasy would be on a South Pacific island, in a grass hut, cracking up coconuts, roasting the fish we just caught on an open fire (small bonfire). Wearing grass skirts and running in soft sand barefoot. Oh, it's so opposite of what I am now. Care to continue the story?

After cooking the fish from the fire, we then continue to cook marshmellows by the fire. I get my hands all sticky. He leans over and licks my fingers. I laugh and giggle, because I'm a little ticklish between my fingers. He can't seem to get the sticky marshmellow off my hands. So, we look at eachother and back at the lake. We then head down to the lake. I can't help but still have this school like giggle cause I know whats coming next.....He takes his shirt off.....He reaches for mine....I reach for his pants....He reaches for mine....We run in the water with our white behinds....laughing and then kissing in silence in the moonlight....
