There is no true love only true lust.Its sad but true no one takes time to get to know someone these days.you shack up or hop in bed then after your around that person you decide oh there not what i thought they would be.You cant assume just becase theres sparks there going to be mr.rite or mrs.rite.the true love i have in my life is my childern and my mom and i guess when i meet someone the true love there is going to be what i can put up with.Sad but true.tony

I have to disagree with you Tony. There is indeed true love and whether some one shacks up with someone right away or waits six months the results would be the same anyway... either it worked or it didn't. You have to work for love and love will work for you. I've learned to enjoy the moments in time that I share with everyone whether it worked out or not. Living for that point in time and letting emotions be expressed is true love unrestricted. I would find it pointless to feel emotions and not express them in fear of "what if it doesn't work?" or "What will people think?". If you feel that way it's for a reason. Expression without restriction... that's true love to me.

Personally I'm starting to wonder if true love really exists. In our society most people have that "disposible family" mentality. Where if things get just a little bit rough they divorce each other.

To me, true love is the feeling of completeness when you are together, able to disagree without the fear of retaliation, accepting the imperfectness of your perfect person, and the ability to give them wings; knowing if it's meant to be, it will be.

One of the most famous lines to describe true love is "love is never having to say you're sorry."
Love is so special that when you catch it, you know it immediately. When it's good, warm and you smile a lot, you enjoy it more than you can describe. When it's over or run it's course, it is painful.
It's amazing what love can do. I've loved two women in my life...when I lost the first one, my heart was hurt so bad, I couldn't breath. When the second one was gone, I began to live again and have been ever since.

Knowing that there is no perfect person and that you, yourself aren't perfect...but together you are perfect. That something that was missing in your life before that you never really sure what it was, is no longer missing. You don't just love that person, but you feel the love returned. That's what it is to me...but it'll be different for everyone because no 2 people are a like.

To me it means be very cautious. Though I believe in "tru love", I have heard too many times it coming back and biting one of the 2 in the behind, so even though I may love some one, I don't know if it is "truely in love".
I agree with Andy though. It is when you have those feelings, and they are equally retunred. I've just had a hard time finding that!!!

True love is when you can be in an crowded room and that person is the only one you see. Its when you can read each other so well that you can have a conversation without saying a word. True love takes your breath away... ahhhh I miss that!

Love. Love is the greatest gift God ever gave man. Love is not wanting to go anywhere without her. Love is not caring what other people think about the two of you. Love is when you feel depressed and sickly when you're not with her. You feel like your life has no meaning or purpose without her. And that if she wasn't holding your hand you would float away to heaven from where she came. Love is caring for her physically and emotionally. It's telling her everyday, anytime, anywhere, anyhow, for no just reason that you love her. Love is telling her u want to spend the rest of your life with her. Love is wanting to marry her even tho ya'll haven't been dating that long. That you would do anything and everything for her. It's the feeling that you would give up everything just to see her smile or look into her beautiful eyes or hear her soft, soothing voice. Love is pure happiness. Love is the feeling you get when all you have to do is think of her and it brings a smile to your face and a yourning to your heart. Love is not being able to think about nething but her. Love is having the sweetest dreams about her and waking up with a smile on ur face. Love is an overwelming feeling of pure bliss when the 2 of u kiss. Love is wanting to hold her in ur arms till the end of time. Love is wishing ur time with her never ends, that your lips would be locked together forever, that she'd be in ur arms till the end of time, that u could cuddle with her for all of eternity. Love is being helplessy and deeply in love with her and knowing your love for her and your feelings for her will never change/end. Love is the world, the world is love, and she is the world to me...

True love is what you have when you have children. It is unconditional and always there (at least when they are little and depend on you). The road goes both ways on that. Sometimes even in relationships things get hard, we have to act a certain way or do things that the other person sees as hurtful. However with true love, at the end of the day that person is still there loving and caring for you always. Always willing to work it out and forgive. Granted there is only so much a person can take, but if you both are on equal footing in that, then it should be true love. When you can look around and see no one else but them, which is how I feel when I see my kids, even when I cringe, I still see only them, I only have eyes for them. They make my world go round and in my opinion true love should to.
