Yes. I am a former Marine Corps journalist and a novelist. My breakout action thriller is available in e-book format on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It is about to be available in print within the next couple of months. I am very excited about actually being able to hold my own book in my hands!

I have written one book and it was published. I am working on 2nd book and on page 18 of chapter 13 now. I do love it and hope to publish 20 more at least to leave a legacy for my children. I have the material for 9 more books now. Everything I had to write that first one. I think the one most common statement I hear from people is "I have always wanted to write a book". My comment is "then sit down and start. If you truly have a book in you, START writing. It will come pouring out of you and before you know it, there it is!"
There is nothing in the world like holding YOUR book and seeing your name on it. Just do it!

Writers only write when desperation comes into life. Everyone needs a vice. Sometimes its the only way you think you can be heard. Not sure how it goes but it helps battle the foes... the biggest enemy is trapped in our head... i believe all of my writings are fiction even if its life exp. Life seems fictional to me anyway. Its all a dream an one day we all will wake but then its to late. Death becomes us all living or dead. Keep searching for someone or something sacred... then maybe i can drop then pen an let life begin

Even invited me to Florida for a poets convention. ..but they asked for a 400$ fee to attend. No thanks.

I used to write poems back in 2007 to 2008 and I always used to win multiple awards from them and they wanted me to attend their poets convention. Safe to say, they charged me the same thing and I great told them no. I did receive a medal from them but I think they gave medals to ANYBODY who actually posted a poem within their website. Quite frankly, I think poetry.com was a scam.....gamer

I have written numerous songs, poetry and one novel based on a song I wrote. If anyone is interested in reading the first 5 completed chapters (I think there will be a total of 8), I would be happy to email you the script and get your input. Would like to know if my style is sell-able. God knows I need the money. What got me started was women have always loved my sexting so I figured maybe romance novels might just be my knack. If you read romance novels and feel you could be a legitimate critique, I'd love for you to read what I've got so far.

I am a secretary by trade but I also write. Mostly poetry, but one other thing that I had published in Tapestry Newsletter. I love to write, mostly from life's experiences, most of my writing is either for someone, about someone or a Catharsis for myself.

I used to write to be published.. now I just write for myself.
I went the opposite way. For a couple of decades, I squeezed writing into the cracks around school and then work, never getting to write as much as I wanted to. Finally, I realized that if I didn't start writing for pay, there would always be some other career or job standing between me and time to write.
