:
I have always loved to read, ever since I was a kid. For years I read those trashy romance novels. I mean that's all I ever read. From the age of 13 until I was 35. Then one day my nephew brought me this great big, thick book called "The Jester". It was by a man named James Patterson. And that was all it took. From that day on, I never picked up another romance novel again. I have read almost everything he's ever written. I got his three latest books for Christmas a few years ago, and had all three read by New Year's Eve. Alex Cross is the man. If any of you out there haven't read him, you should.

I just finished Cross Country! I wish he could write faster. I am an avid reader and my favorite genre is suspense, mystery and I have some favorites. I go to the library just about every 2 weeks and averaqe about 10-15 books. When a long weekend comes up, I have to makew sure I have plenty to read! I have loved books since I could read - grew up with Nancy Drew, Bobbsey Twins, etc.

I have read several of his books, but I don't think "The Jester" was one of them. I have to get it now.

I do. I have read most of his books. When I see his name as Author, I don't even have to read what it's about. I just grab it.
Same with Dean Koontz.

I'm reading "The 8th Confession" now, by James Patterson.

He happens to be my favorite author now. Joseph Wambaugh and Patrick Mcmanus were before but they haven't had a new book for a long time.

I've read about 3 of his novels, and I don't think James Patterson is all that great a writer. I think his characters tend towards stereotypes rather than real people I can believe in. His novels do hook you, though. I once called them "literary crack."

I loves his books. He's one of my favorites. I have read every one except the last one. I started it but it disappeared right out of my house one day. lol

I do love James Patterson; I have read all his books except the last two. I have other authors I read also and like to mix them up. Patricia Cornwell and Dean Koontz are my other two favorites.
