bubbahotep1234 Rogers, AR 51, joined Oct. 2010	Not all men do. I'm 44 and have talked with my friends about this: sometimes, it's easier to have a genuine connection with someone near the same age. But to answer the question, the reasons range: physical beauty and physique - that's probably a lot of it, energy level, not so entrenched in their ways, more spontaneous, maybe not having children or an ex-husband to deal with, ... But someone else mentioned it in the thread: sometimes, being with a younger person makes the man feel younger. When you start getting older and are staring across the table at a person that has a lot of lines on the face, grey hairs peeking out here and there, etc..., it can remind you of your age. Men and women who are not comfortable with where they are in life at that point can have a hard time looking past that kind of superficial stuff. I personally think young is as much a state of mind as of body. And older women are often better lovers. So, there you have it - another opinion.

My last 4 gf's have all been 8 years younger but not on purpose just happened that way. I look for alot of other qualities in a woman before I even consider age (whether older or younger).

When I was in my 20s I only dated much older men but now I prefer to date in my own age group. I even joke on my profile that Im looking for a man who isnt looking for a 20yr old blonde.
