i just got out of my longest relationship which was 7 months.
im a 19 year old male almost 20 and i have never been in a relationship for more then a month before that.I just dont feel like i can move on and be better from that old relationship.And i have met a couple very nice girls on this site i just dont know how to approach a girl anymore because that one relationship is always on my mind and hard to let go of.I just wish i could know that there is a girl out there for me...

I got out of an almost 3 year relationship..3 years ago and know how your feeling. I can't tell you what to do..its kind of is a learning exp. I know all I wanted was to jump into a relationship so I wouldn't be lonely. I made a lot of bad choices. I've been single for over a year now and feel I am ready to give my whole self instead of just the parts that werent still attached to my x.

First you ought to get over the relationship that just ended. You need to spend a bit of time mourning the loss of it. Take your time getting involved with someone else! You're only 20 and you don't need to be married by Valentine's Day. Just date a lot of girls and get engaged when you're 25 or so. That's soon enough and you've had the chance to get a place of your own and a job or schooling and get a career going. Then when you're really ready to start living in the adult world you can find someone to marry. At your age it is better to wait. Duluth can be expletive cold this time of year.
