Iam also an interpreter for the deaf.

I have a government job. My title is "Senior Office Manager." I have one employee (Office Clerk) so I think my title is rediculous, but that's government for you.... they throw titles around but keep the pay next to nothing!

Assistant Barn manager at a smaller facility.Moving to our new facility and I will be the barn manager of that one this summer. As of right now i take care of 13 horses. I feed cleaning stalls turning them out training and maintaining the barn to keep it clean etc. Our facility we are having built is going be a 20 stall barn with an Olympic size indoor arena and some of the horses will be able stay outside all the time so im really excited about that.

mzice, your job sounds like fun! I'll bet you are very excited about the new, larger facility that you will be managing! I was raised on a horse ranch in South Dakota. I haven't ridden a horse in over 5 years. I miss riding so much! Horses are such wonderful creatures! I could share some awesome childhood experiences that I had on the ranch! (Some of them didn't turn out so good... but we always had a great time!)

Wow, I've been around for awhile, so I've had a few careers.....really liked MOST of them.
Started out working for a bank....did your monthly statements...BOR-ing.
Then Legal Stenography - first, as an employee, then ran my own Legal Secretarial Service ...
A few years for Full-time motherhood, then back to work.... truck and Maxi-Taxi driver in Westport, Ct....home of the rich and famous....never saw many of them, but felt safe on the job...worked many nights. Also a school bus and charter bus driver. This actually was the beginning of my travel career.
Worked summers in a childrens' camp to give my children the camp experience...First, office, then chef and truck driver.
Travel School and many years a travel agent, Tour Operator...had a Singles Travel Program and ran the Singles Department of the Travel Agency....
As a member of Parents Without Partners, I began my bus driving, including regional conventions and ski trips and tours. Also volunteered to "type" our chapter newsletter and then became Editor and won international awards, which led to giving workshops on how to Create a Newsletter. This led to writing and publishing articles on Singles and singles travel.
My longest career...and, probably the most exciting one, was my 39 years as an International Tour Director, which, until 911, allowed me the most fantastic opportunity for world travel and exploration and the privilege of showing others places of wonder we have in this world. For 17 of these years I lived part time in Hawaii.
Now, I'm retired...Hah I still take some groups out, do alterations...it's amazing how many people don't know how to shorten a pair of pants.....I teach knitting, crocheting and hand embroidery. And, once-in-awhile, do product demonstrations in local supermarkets.
Wow, it's amazing what one can accomplish in 71 years.....I'm exhausted just reading about it....but, I can say that I have pretty much enjoyed all my work.....and, that's kinda rare these days.
May I wish all of you the enjoyment I've had...and am still having in my "careers".

in the past i was a,dishwasher,bus boy,mixoligist(bartender),bouncer,quality controll at keyboard factory,maint man,oilfield hand(roustabout),bullosipher,ditchdigger,gandy dancer,male stripper ,giggallo,equipment operateor,grounds keeeper,toured with metallica in charge of groupy control.chicken artifishal inseminaitor,human methane dispersol,pipe fitter,sex theraphist,hoe operator,dog crap removal consultant,prospector, and a truck driver for over 20 yrs,completely clean DMV printout,class a cdl with all endorsements except passenger,did oilfield delivery mostly but also hauled some frieght too. and last but not least,comic relief artist.
