there are so many threads on this topic. I think as a girl matures they start to realize that the "bad boys" are not worth the shit, so find one who has come around enough to realize that. We are truely looking for good men who treat us well, but we don't want to be bored eather, gotta know how to have fun.

Or at least know how to find things to do that could be considered fun, romantic and don't require you to spend a lot of money to do something. Remember, its not about how much is spent on the date, its about spending one on one time together. The girl who wants to do that with you and doesn't mind what you do as long as you are together is a keeper! Also don't forget to be picky. And leave the bar wh*res alone.............

Women dig CONFIDENCE, bro'. That comes in all sortsa pkgs.
The woman who falls in love w/ the "nice" guy is waiting for him to diplay confidence. He may have all sortsa endearing qualities which compensate in the short-term, but have you ever been attracted to the cute girl who's surrounded by her hottie friends? Did she display confidence? Was she her own woman who stood out by not trying to compete w/ her gorgeous friends?
How about the super-popular girl who's easy as hell to talk to and has that effable vibe, but she's maybe not pin-up material? She's confident.
Are you competing w/ jerks and a**holes? Don't. Let them do what all the other a**holes are doing. Define yourself. Build an arsenal of character and principle -- a small one @ first. If you have just a few nice things, take care of them like you would a nice woman. Women see that and they make the connection that you may not need much. What you have, you value. Take care of yourself, too. Physically. Again, women see progress on an intuitive level. They can sense this sh*t. You take care of your stuff, yourself, you'll prolly logically take care of them. IF they're ready.
"Bad Boys" are "confident" in that they don't care. What's good for them is all they need. Some women are attracted to that. They're fun, They're adventurous. They're a challenge. Ya ever notice how many women the bad boys go through..? Here's a secret: The chicks are done w/ them, too. Bad boys are stunted, selfish dudes who still relate to the world through 21-yr-old eyes.
A**holes? Every woman loves an a**hole @ times. The man's job in a relationship is to put on pshycho war paint, dude. The real man is out front and taking the slings and arrows -- taking care of the woman and protecting her, so she doesn't have to get Spartan like Leonidas; but so she can be the queen. That's the guy's job. Often, you have to be an a**hole to go to war w/ other a**holes. Conan the Cimerian is a great a**hole. However, the dude who's a**holism is directed @ the very woman he's there to protect and provide for -- the guy who experienced the inevitable periodic defeat and brings it home to defeat the woman in his life -- that's like pi**ing in the well you drink from. She's there for you. She's hardwired to nurture and repair you -- to make you stronger for the next inevitable fight. Some guys don't know when to flip the switch off. Don't be that guy. They end up miserable.
Women are complex too, man. That's another thing. Sounds like you may not be dating the right ones -- the more focused ones who can define what they want in less than 10 kabillion words during a boring-a** convo. There's no guarantee she's gonna be mature or developed enough to see through all the BS of the aforememntioned guys, either. Step back. Take a break and define what it is YOU want -- principles, values, qualities in a woman...and don't try to SAVE women, either. You'll be disappointed. That or dead. You'll be a victim of your own agrandizement. And women don't like victims. They dig confidence, remember?

As a nice guy I totally know what the OP means, that said I agree with CrucesAlum. Unfortuantlly most a**holes have an overabundance of confidence, which is a really desirable trait to women. As a nice guy I realize I often come off as soft, and lacking confidence, admittedly this isn't true, and I'm actually quite cocky.  I just don't show it very well. So yeah it's not that women like a**holes, it's that they like confidence, and whining about how they like so and so rather then you isn't showing confidence. So just be the awesome guy I know you are and I gurantee you that someone will notice it.
