I would like to add some different points of interest to my garden. I have some statues, some metal art, bird baths, and glazing balls already. I am looking for something unique for some climbing plants to grow on for on item. I have a number of areas that could use something and enjoy looking at other people's creations.
Does anyone have anything they would like to share?
Thank you in advance.
Cindy

Paint an old wooden ladder some interesting colors, like a folk art piece. Use it for beans or cucumbers to grow up.

That is a great idea. I have a place that would be perfect for one too. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hello Cindy. I think an old child's tricycle or an old bicycle would make a climbing plant stand out in your garden.

Watch for old metal "Headboards" at garage sales and such. They can be easily made into interesting Trellis' for climbers and vines.

I have a wishing-well and it works well for me. I also used metal headboards to build an arbor. People throw headboards out on the street, they work great in the yard and garden.

Cindy, I took an old oaken glider with a high spindle back that my dad had made, stuck it in the garden by some blackberry plants (his favorite fruit) and let the vines crawl up on it. The glider was falling apart and never worked right -- I was going to throw it out, but thought it would do well in the garden as a tribute to my dad. When he made it, he had ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and emphysema, but he was determined and got it done -- just a little off. Maybe you have a little bit of a memory too for your garden.

4 pieces of pipe buried on end, sticking 6' out of the ground...with a jungle gym placed on top of that.
Planted Carolina Jasmine & wysteria(sp?) to grow up it.
