Found these green things on my tomato plat; about as big around as my middle finger, maybe 3-4 inches long. They ate all the leaves and the branches themselves look like they were snipped off. Can anyone tell me what they are?

Sounds like you have Horned Tomatoe worms. Just pick them off and get rid of them. (They don't sting or bite). Look closely at your other plants, there are always more than one. They are the larvae of moths who lay eggs on your plants and can eat a plant in one day. They can be hard to see so watch for early signs of thier existance and get rid of them right away. Your plants have a good chance of growing new leaves if they are otherwise healthy.

Thank you both! There were four on the plant the day I found them, and first posted. Luckily, I caught them early on; just a couple of branches. The leaves have already begun coming back strong. Thanks again.
