the true story.
i had a date for new years eve.the woman lived about 25 miles from me.she called saturday afternoon and said she wasn't feeling good and with the snow and cold she decided to stay home.i had a cold myself,so wasn't too disappointed.
i stayed home,what a bummer,and went to bed about 11.
made sourkrout ,kolbosa,pork chops ,weiners and mashed potatoes on new years,and my sister and daughter came for dinner.played cards later in the day,

sorry you had a cold for new years Wilbur just think about the spring and summer .you can dress as uncle sam for the 4th. of july picnic we had a dusting of snow a few days ago . we are having cold weather here in pa. all in all it has not been a bad winter .

I have lived here 43years and it has snowed a tiny bit one year that I recall. Drive 30 minutes and I get to snow. So I guess that is not too bad. Later....

The weather is changing. We use to have some snow in January, not yet this year. Had tornadoes a county over from me last night. Don't expect those in the winter.

went to the club last night.had a beer and played the machines awhile.then was talking to a guy at the bar that i knew.a woman sitting next to him joined the conversation.i said i like to play the horses.she said there is a channel on t,v, that shows horse racing all day.she said she wondered what idiot would sit and watch horse racing all day.i laughed and said you just met him.
