Oh, I see what you mean, Butterfly. We all get paid on different days with SSDI like I will receive mine on 2nd Wednesdays of each month.

DELIVERY OF BENEFIT CHECKS
( to include electronic transfer/deposit )
Sec. 708. [42 U.S.C. 909] (a) If the day regularly designated for the delivery of benefit checks under title II, title VIII or title XVI falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal public holiday (as defined in section 6103 of title 5, United States Code[15] in any month, the benefit checks which would otherwise be delivered on such day shall be mailed for delivery on the first day preceding such day which is not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal public holiday (as so defined), without regard to whether the delivery of such checks would as a result have to be made before the end of the month for which such checks are issued.
(b) If more than the correct amount of payment under title II, title VIII or XVI is made to any individual as a result of the receipt of a benefit check pursuant to subsection (a) before the end of the month for which such check is issued, no action shall be taken (under section 204 or 1631(b) or otherwise) to recover such payment or the incorrect portion thereof.
(c) For purposes of computing the “OASDI trust fund ratio” under section 201(l), the “OASDI fund ratio” under section 215(i), and the “balance ratio” under section 709(b), benefit checks delivered before the end of the month for which they are issued by reason of subsection (a) of this section shall be deemed to have been delivered on the regularly designated delivery date.
[15] Legal public holidays which may affect check delivery are (1) New Year’s Day [January 1], (2) Independence Day [July 4], and (3) Labor Day [first Monday in September].

I usually get mine on the 3rd and my widow's benefit the 4th Wednesday of the month. That's why I was confused when I got it early because the 3rd is on Tuesday.

My birthday is on the 24th of the month, 
sometimes I pay my bills before the 5th of the month,
a few times I been so down and out 
I was living hand paw to month...
or is that mouth..??

I get my military retirement money and disability money the first day of the month except this time I got it on the 30th. My Social Security comes in the second Wednesday.

I had thought it was the same for everyone because I know people who get SSI on the first and SSDI on the 3rd. Thanks for clarifying that.

It seems to me (and I could be wrong about this) that those who are getting Social Security used to get it on the first day of the month. Everyone got it then. Mine has come on the second Wednesday since I've been getting it.

I wasn't expecting it early so it was a nice surprise. I wound up lending a neighbor $10 until Tuesday because she didn't get hers early and needed to get medication..
