Adorable?
I feel like puppies and children are adorable, but a woman? I guess it would depend on the situation, like when you are cuddling. Cute seems better to me for some reason, but even that is a little weaksauce. What do y'all think?

My personal opinion is, if used properly there is nothing wrong with a man calling the woman he is with adorable. Although there are not very many situations in which is could be used properly.
One example is if a woman is holding a child, be it a neice/nephew, son/daughter or possibly a puppy. The man could say you look adorable, and I don't see that as being weak.
In almost any other case, it would seem as if the woman is almost being spoken down to. Of course that is perception, and perception can be tricky.

Good points. I guess it also depends on what relationship you have with the guy. If a stranger called me adorable I'd totally be like "wtf". I guess if I had a bf and we were just hanging out it wouldnt be so bad. Im not really the type who likes being called "adorable" I guess.

The same way we feel when you call us "sweet". That's not a compliment in initial communications...regardless of the spirit of delivery (kinda like sexy towards a woman).
