Maybe because they didn't come out with a rue super sport until the last few years? Ducati's are GORGEOUS bikes, good torque but way to much costly maintenance involved for an already over priced machine. Which Ducatis one any GP championships in the last five years?
& i do, won't be back in til i can bare weight for longer than a minuet or two on my leg/foot though.

Sport bikes (honda & Kawi > the rest) are great but if youre doing a lot of street riding its a big waste and overkill considering they are so focused for the track.
That's why i traded my CBRrr for a sport touring. Best of all worlds  1200cc, style, comfort and handling. zrx1200r retro bikes are just sick anyways

I don't own one, now, but I did have a Triumph 1500. It was left to me by my ex fiance', who passed away from lung cancer. I loved that bike but never had anyone to teach me to actually drive one. So, I had to sell it, so it wouldn't rot away. I would say that I favor Triumphs. Although I liked, in the past, Bultacos, (sp?), and Ducatis. I've always loved the motorcycle races, although I don't know about any around here. I still love riding motorcycles now, but don't know anyone who has one.

I'd have to say Panheads are the prettiest, most dependable I've ever owned...still got the '64 magneto kick start, suicide clutched,jockey shift b*tch and does she roll!!!...gotta '72 shovelhead softail,still in process of being built, '97 Dyna Looooowrider with 4" of road clearance....ya gotta make 'em yours...make 'em fit...make 'em handle and make 'em run...make 'em personal ...however the one under your a** is the best...keep it in the wind and stay safe

Been riding for over 40 years had honda suzuki kaws older harleys now i have newer harley it is by far the sweetest ride ive ever had plenty of power smooth and dependable sounds great looks fantastic no plastic to mention harley has come a long way in short period they are only true motorcycle out there a true work of art!!!!!

Shovel head Harley (big twin which in hd language means engine separate from tranny) SS carburetor, HD standard rods. Must be a swing arm frame with modified rear tooth of 48 or less with modified primary belt from chain primary. Sounds complex but its not as the mods I listed are common these days. I would just as well go with a pan or knuckle but shovels are easier to attain and pans and knuckles use two cams instead instead one like the shovel

I love my 2009 gs500f. Perfect starter bike, has good acceleration, good gas mileage and sounds good with my screaming demon exhaust. Only down side is the top end. But I can't expect much out of a naked 500

My Cushman scooters have ben seting for a few years now, But today i got them both out cleaned & serviced. The 1948 Model 54 Road king started right up. The 1952 sport model 62, model 65 Road king, has yet to start for me, but at my age I wear out kicking easaly This last cushman is also a pretty rare scooter & was only made in a 3 month period in 1952
I finaly got my Harley Roadking out for the summer yesterday
Will I get out the Moto-Guzzi to??? we will see I guess.

I have an 02 HD sportster 1200. She's my first bike, bought her new, and love riding! Quick, lots of power, and all around fun to ride! Just wish our riding season was longer in MN. I had a 1983 Honda 110. This was a great little bike for getting around town and trail riding. It was an automatic with a 4 high/4 low dual range,2 fuel tanks,great on gas and cheap to insure. (Wish I still had it).

i have a 2003 suzuki gsxr 1000 and a 2003 kawasaki z1000
2003-04 gsxr is my absolute favorite fairing and light combination, i dislike the new style.
when i get tired of the speed I will probably get a vrod or a boulevard. they make some sick custom upgrades for the boulevard.

I'm researching Harley's to see what might be a good fit for me. I'm 5'7" and about 135 lbs. Does anyone have any input on Soft Tail Slims? Good or bad. Or any suggestions on any other bikes, Harley preferred? Thanks!

I love my Yamaha R6 I know it's a small bike but I just can't get rid of it. It's all I own. Living inTexas I can ride pretty much year round so it has almost 100 thousand miles on it. I love to ride.
