I have had 2 Blue Heelers..Justin was 6 weeks old when he picked me and lived to 15 yrs, completely devoted to me and only me. Spur the other Blue Heeler is 3 years old and shows the exact same traits. Blue Heelers are the only breed for me.

I have Two Labs and Three American Bulldogs. They all work a 2000 ac farm. They are the best work dogs.
They are so smart and know exactly what to do. Listen very well. Easy to train.
I always take Sally (one if the A.Bulldogs) with me when I go riding. She stays in front the whole time watching and looking out for us! I love to see them work the cattle and goats.
I'm very happy with these guys!!!

Mine are a blue Heeler/germanshepard/husky cross and a shelty/border collie cross both rescues and both good working dogs. The heeler cross never leaves my side...the border collie cross has the attention span of a goldfish, and never stops moving.

Last dog I had was a mixed breed that I got after she was scheduled to be "put down." She was real difficult to be around at first. Destroyed things, barked a lot, and would not listen. However, when she finally learned how to be helpful, she took it very seriously. I think she enjoyed bringing the horses in. She helped save me from mean pigs several times when we went south for a while. After she died, I couldn't bring myself to get another dog yet.

An English Mastiff with incredible judgement. I do the cattle management and farm work, she watches the place and the child. Be friendly, don't pick anything up, don't approach the house or outbuildings, don't even get close to the kid and she's goofy and loveable. Try any of those things and she'll have your arse, right now. Her Jekyll and Hyde transformation must be seen to be believed. I've clocked her at 28 MPH and no human runs that fast so behave yourself on our farm

I have a standard poodle mixed with Labrador retriever. His name is "HAPPY"
The Yuppy crowd calls that mix a labradoodle. I call him a damn good mutt. Smartest dog I have ever known.

I have a Border Collie who thinks she is a squirel dog. OK.. she has proven to be a squirel dog.. she loves to climb trees for them, catch them and play with them.. Dang toys stop moving after a bit. Then she goes to find another toy. She is single handedly is cutting down the squirel population. Anyone want some squirel meat... ewwww

use to have english shepperds (ex took them) But hope to get a mountain cur again,,, great watch and farm dog and was ready to go hunting and traveling with me at the drop of a hat,,, he was smart and loyal and plan on getting one in the future, labs are great too

Mom and my Step dad breed, raise, train and show them as well as hunter trial them...most all are Dual Champions. My Quinn2 is the son of a Westminster Breed Winner and both parenst were dual champions. It is Mom's dogs last litter.

they are a gorgious pooch when all brushed out but they shure pick up the burrs while hunting,,, had to give them a good brushing after every hunt but it was worth it and they enjoyed a good brushing any time
