This is a hard thing to do, I am not used to talking about myself. I have been in the DFW area for about 2 months now and I am glad to be final settled in somewhat. I am a hopeless romantic and believe chivalry is not dead, I'm single by choice and I've never been married but would love to be one day. Having confessed that I certainly do not suffer from any commitment phobias; in fact, quite the contrary. I've been in several long-term, loving, committed relationships over the years, from which I've learned what I want ( and do not want ) in a life partner. In a relationship, I would describe myself as affectionate, romantic and completely devoted to my woman. While I am far from being an ego-manic, I am a pretty confident man. I enjoy my career very much besides my job one of my other great passions is travel (especially international travel) but, despite that, one of my favorite places on earth is Hawaii and I hope to some day live there permanently. I'm looking for woman who is honest, communicative, loving, supportive, spiritual, and smart,the most important thing to me is that there be spiritual compatibility from the perspective of dating someone that has a strong faith in God as I do. There must also be some mental compatibility so that we can communicate on similar topics we both enjoy.. Formal degrees are unimportant to me (meaning that intelligence can come from many experiences in life, not just formal degrees). If you think about it Intelligence comes in many different varieties, not just "booksmart," so this is an odd subject. I want a woman who is into politics and loves to debate, just like myself. Easily put, a woman who can really get into social satire and is up-to-date with world events. And finally I want a woman who truly understands that Love, Respect, Honor, Loyalty, Devotion, Honesty and Sacrifice are the elements in a TRUE relationship.
