Hippie at heart, but calm in mind and body!
My name is Jerry. I'm 20 years old and I live a life that is far different from your average person. I am passionate about film, the arts, and psychology. I am pursuing a career in filmmaking!  I am a person that is considered unorthodox, perhaps even very strange. I have an odd, profound sense of humor, and I have the ability to laugh at myself. I am passionate, consider myself profoundly intellectual and have a strong desire for self-expression and to change the world for the better. I am very open about myself, far more open than most people are during average conversation and it tends to throw some people off that aren't comfortable sharing that kind of knowledge. However, I think it's absolutely crucial in my perspective to be who you really are, not a mask or fake yourself and compromise your own happiness to please others. I am idealistic and although eccentric, am moral, absolutely loyal, and very compassionate. Many of my friends tell me if I didn't want to go into filmmaking, I should be a therapist.
What I look for is someone with similar characteristics to me. A woman that is against the grain, does not follow regular social stigmas, willing to do her own thing and live her own life the way she wants to. I enjoy the company of woman who are intellectually my equal or at least able to keep up a conversation with me and are equally idealistic and passionate! Since I'm rather nerdish, my ideal woman would be at least able to tolerate nerdy, dorky behavior. Most importantly, a woman who believes in sharing everything and dividing all the effort by 50/50. No one in the relationship should feel burdened or obligated. I believe we should search for happiness and meaning within our lives together.
