I’m a sweet, warm, loving, and caring woman. I can tell you that I'm a smart, easy going latina. I consider myself ambitious but down to earth, Independent, passionate, driven and looking for someone compatible. To me honesty and loyalty are very important.
I love to travel, though lately I have not been able to do it as often as I would like. Recently, I went to Hawaii on vacation and had a blast. It was re-energizing and fascinating to learn about how rich their culture is. I like to explore new things. The world is much bigger than NYC, it’s diverse and wonderful. It is very helpful to be open to new experiences. I like to have fun with simple things like the beach, a walk in the park, a movie, dining out with friends, or simply staying home watching re-runs.
After many years, I went back to college and recently finished my degree. I know that there is so much more I am yet to learn, but achieving this simple goal has been empowering for me. I decided that now it’s not the time to stop acquiring knowledge, so I started taking Italian classes.
My interests vary. I like music, movies, TV, sports, and much more. I enjoy almost any kind of music, sometimes it’s not even relevant weather I understand the language or not as long as the rhythm calls me. In my IPod you can find a Frank Sinatra song followed by Shakira, Gloria Gainer (or any other 80’s singer), a salsa or merengue. When it comes to movies I am the same. Some people may call it undefined; I call it open mind (LOL). I like romantic comedies as well as dark comedies; I can watch an action movie right after a horror movie. I’ve seen many foreign films as well. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Australian, Italian…. And the list could go on and on. I would like to point out that I do not mind reading subtitles, in fact, I prefer them. There is nothing worse than watching a movie with someone like Eddie Murphy (just to mention one) with a voice that does not match his personality at all.
As per television, I have a wide range as well. For example, on Mondays I watch Dancing with the Stars while recording the NBA conference Finals or vice versa. I like CSI, Cold Case, Las Vegas, Oprah, House hunter, and when I feel a bit down, a Disney movie will do the trick.
I am passionate about the NBA. I’ve been following it since I was a child. There was something about the epic battle between the great Magic Johnson and the rising star Michael Jordan. If Johnson got three points, Jordan got three at the other end. If Johnson dunked or stole the ball, Jordan would answer with the same. It is my believe the Michael Jordan got the be so amazing because he was trying to proof everyone that he was fearless and not because he was just drafted by the Bulls, he had all the talent he needed. It was one of the most important factors that pushed me to learn English.
