First off, the blonde mohawk is no gone..sorry! My name is Joshua and I am from Houston. I've lived all over the country, but Texas is my home sweet home! I'm giving this site a try because I want to find someone closer to my age and maturity level. A person that will help keep me motivated to better myself. And I will return the favor! I have learned over the years that I'm good at motivating people to do great things or calm their nerves when they are upset. A product of working in the bar industry for over eight years now. I enjoy exercise, the great outdoors, sports, hanging out with friends, live music, dancing, reading, and spending time with my pets. I currently attend Texas A&M. I plan on graduating in December 2012 with my BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Polymer Specialty Certificate. I have my own place and I keep it clean!
Family: I have one older brother, he currently lives in Georgia with his wife and two boys. My father has been passed away since '96. I have two wonderful moms that keep me in line and help me out with whatever I need. I have two pets. My dog, Sammy, is a yellow lab and he is almost five. My cat, Remmy, is a white/black cat and he is eight now! As I stated before, I love animals.
My hobbies include: cooking, softball, shooting pool, going to the shooting range, & reading.
My most recent passion is cooking. My friend and I get together once a week and cook some of the best Mac n Chz in Bryan/College Station!
My one main goal in life is to be the most awesome father & husband. I've been blessed with such a great example of what that is and can't wait to make it a reality.
Another goal of mine is to get closer to God. I haven't strayed very far, but a little is far enough for me. So I am making an effort in that sense. If that bothers you, then that's just your problem! LOL
I love several different types of sports. I love Hockey, it is my one true passion. I played for over 7 years and due to injury I had to quit...no regrets! I love Baseball, Go Astros! Minute Maid park is awesome! I really enjoy Soccer. I'm a fan of the Houston Dynamo. I also enjoy Rugby. I listen to a variety of different types of music. Texas country, Rock, Classic Rock, new-age alternative & the classical/opera styles.
As far as an ideal person that I'm looking for...I appreciate honesty and a true caring personality. I have animals so they must be accepted too.
