I am a down to earth, sincere, pleasant person who loves reading sci-fi, a good horror/suspense film, and opportunities to have new and different experiences. I tend to be a homebody, but am a really good dancer  , outgoing, and I enjoy learning about people and new things. I am not materialistic, however I'm looking for someone who is established in their life and stable. I am a very good listener, a problem-solver, and task oriented, but can get exhausted and will withdraw for awhile to re-group. I am secure in who I am, I like doing things for my partner "just because" if it is appreciated, and am not interested in "policing" his whereabouts in order to keep him honest . I am loyal, considerate, understanding, flexible, and secure in who I am. In order to change my mind about something, the ability to be persuasive and convincing is important, because you'll find quickly that a "just because" will not work  .
I am looking for a person who has a zest for life, is responsible, willing to grow in all aspects of their life, and has a positive outlook. Someone that is intuitive and appreciative enough to recognize and grab a golden opportunity when it presents both in life and love. A person who is considerate, creative, gentlemanly (I am from the south), and intelligent. Initiative, self-confidence, and loyalty is a a must. Flexibility in being a leader and/or follower is good, but must be able to take care of home. Since I am ultimately looking to build a life with someone, commitment phobics should stop here and move on.  Also feel free to move on if you tend to give unsolicited advice, lecture, or dominate conversations with "sharing information". 
If you're working through some "issues" in your life, please resolve that first.  Family is paramount in my life, so I am very protective of them and what they are exposed to. My hair is like me... natural. So if you're looking for a "diva" (i.e. nails, always made up, never in relaxed mode) rather than being whole  , I'm probably not your girl. FYI: my son is a toddler, so you must love children and be willing to demonstrate affection. If you live in a different country and are not planning to re-locate to Texas ANYWAY, then I encourage you to continue on your journey to find love...
