I'm a laid back kind of guy. When I first meet people I'm a bit quiet. It's not so much from being shy as it is from learning how I'll fit in with this group. I prefer to watch the dynamic of a group for a little bit before I jump in with both feet. If it's a small group it doesn't take me long to warm up to people but large groups if I don't know anyone I'll stay out of the way for the most part and wander around until someone starts talking to me. If I've met you once I consider you a friend, but not always a confidant. Although I will tell you my life story by accident, so stop me if you don't want to hear it.
I do have a crazy sense of humor and occasionally find humor in things others don't. I'll laugh at parts of movies that others might think are intense (More in war movies than you'd think, if I've done something similar I normally find humor in it.) I can't spell for crap so I rely heavily on spell-check, but I hate auto-correct. (Though it does lead to some seriously funny situations.)
I do smoke at the moment, but I am very accommodating about it. I don't smoke inside my house, but I do smoke in the car, but not while with people who it might bother. I drink, but not very much and I rarely get drunk. When I go out I might have one or two beers. I hate losing control of myself and waking up wondering what the heck I did, not to mention I can't stand hangovers. On the other side of that, I have nothing to do with drugs of any kind and don't want to be around anyone who is.
I am a pet lover and a happy dog owner. I love traveling with my dog but I don't do it very often. I have a half wolf half lab, and she's a hyper puppy. but, I love her!
I'm originally from the east side of the Houston area and have recently moved back after 8 years in the Army and 6 years in Dallas. Most of the people I know from this area are either gone or into stuff that I have no desire to be around, so I'm looking for new people to chill with.
Also, Please note that I am not looking for a relationship, I am in one. My fiance and I are doing good and I'm not here for a booty call at all. I'm here just to make friends.
