I'm a teacher. I teach Hebrew school. Jobs fall in your lap in the weirdest ways. And the language is beautiful. And it pays the bills. And the longer I do it the more I like myself as a teacher, and the more time I spend on questions of pedagogy, and on the nuances of the craft. Not totally sure where I'm going with it yet, but it's become a really big part of my life.. The first things people usually notice about me is Is that I'm actually old enough to be at a bar. (I'm probably going to be carded until I'm 40). I'm good at packing. this is a strange thing to be good at, but i am always absurdly well packed for any trip. it is a gift that my grandmother passed to me and i am forever grateful for it.
