It's been a long time since I've been on here. Guess I've given up on the online dating world.. lol..  I moved up here from CA when I retired 8 years ago, and happily so. I've met some great friends and had some interesting adventures, but haven't managed to find that special someone.. yet.
Life just goes on as normal here in the very beautiful countryside of Lewis county.. pastoral scenes with cows, Christmas tree farms and lakes. Not much to do here but very lovely and serene. Great for painting or gardening when I'm in the mood. I'm kind of missing being around people lately and even thinking of moving to one of the islands up north of me, possibly Whidbey. But at this point, it's just a thought in my head. I'm hoping the rain stops soon and that summer will be great, warm and dry enough to garden, walk my sweet little dog Gypsy and just get out more!! Feeling so housebound with all this rain!!
Our poor country is so divided lately with political strife. I try hard to be flexible and accepting of other's political beliefs, but I am conservative.... I want to make that known. It never used to matter as much but with the current political climate, best to get that out there.
I'm not looking for anything in particular, maybe just a friend, or lover.. who knows (??) It would be so great to fall in love, but a connection in any form is a wonderful thought. I miss that so much.
