Flying solo this year, not cooking for myself also not hanging with my family this year. I plan to pick up dinner from my local Kroger. Not sad at all about being only for TG, plan to sip on moscato, surf the net, and watch Christmas movies

No sense making it if there is no one to eat it.

deejay, I'm the same way! Am by myself here as well. Kids will all be with they're significant others families and they're dad and his family this year. I am going to cook still, just for me and for the leftovers, makes me feel good to do it. Then me and myself will kick back with some Hard Cider and watch Christmas movies as well.

Thanksgiving with sibs and mother. One sis is doing Salmon in puff pastry, leeks, pilaf, I'm smoking a turkey and doing roast winter vegetables, not sure about the other sibs but it's always unique and entertaining. My tweenage daughters hate everything because it's not like their mother's meat and potato's cooking.

I usually spend this 4 day week-end alone, and love it...peace and quite.
But this year I am off to Arkansas to visit new grand baby...son is cooking. He said don't bring anything. I raised that boy right......

Headed to Dallas to my stepdaughters. Her hubby did the turkey just right last yr and expecting the same this yr. All her kids will be bringing things also. We were told to just bring a big appetite..

The whole family is cooking something.. YOU NAME IT WE GOT IT.. TURKEY, STUFFING GRAVEY CANDY YAMS GREEN BEAN CASEROLE MASH POTATOES SQUASH ROLLS CORN.. DESERTS: peach, apple, pumpkin, pecan pies.. Cranberry bread, zuccuni bread and to top off it.. Jello salad.
We feed an army if we could.. Lol but every year. We invite a family who cant do it. This year is different. We are very greatful for all of our family pitching together. Even though we all have some sort of feud..
