I guess it depends where in MN you live. I tend to think that the MSP area is incredibly rude, generally speaking of course. But then again I'm not a fan of big cities, that's why I lived in Fargo-Moorhead for 20 years!

Funny thing, I moved to MN four years ago, and I regret it. At least when it comes to dating. It's like they know you're an outsider, and they totally pass you up because of it. Four years single has caused me to hate this place.

here's the deal... not all men are like that. I know this. I just had to look at the types of guys I was going for.
not all women are like what you guys described. you gotta look at what type you are going for and change it up.
