It would probably be totally awesome for the first few weeks.... but then it would be a lot of pressure. People might want you but do they want to know you? Do they know you? Or do they only want what they see?
Lots of people treat others as "out of their league" for a whole host of reasons- only known to them.
You would get the partner that you wanted by being yourself.... same way the rest of the world does. The fact that your wrapping might be fancy doesn't change who you are inside.
I would hope that no matter what my outside was, my inside would remain the same fabulousness that it is today.  And I would hope to find that one... but enjoy the journey while looking.
Are beautiful people really lonely? Probably - as lonely as the unbeautiful ones.

i agree. beauty is skin deep. i've seen some really "hot" men turn ugly as soon as they opened their mouths. no duct tape around when you need it either *sighs* i know the same goes for some of the "gorgeous" women some men have met. i'd search for that special one i know is out there

OK....Fair enough.......I'll give it a run. I might try the "slut" thing. If EVERYONE wanted me, Hell, I'm only Human.....I'd give that a shot. Wilt Chamberlin said he'd slept with 20 gazillion women. HMMMM ........wonder what that would be like? (I just checked outside and saw no line of hot ladies waiting for their turn with me). After a few months, that would get pretty old.
After my "slut" run, I'd probably donate my time to help charities so folks could see that I had something inside, too. I used to think stars did that for attention and to enjoy the spotlight. Maybe they want someone to see that they have something else, too.

Hannah---you have to forgive Eddy. He is a little irritable, but you have to understand..he can't go anywhere without constant attention. He has had to change his phone number so many times, put up an 8 foot privacy fence to keep women from constantly trying to sneak a peak. He can't even go to the barbers to get his head shaved any more--he has to do it himself---he will tell you, it is tough being so wanted all of the time. beauty is only skin deep, fades quickly when you have a ugly or negative attitude.
When I modeled I had guys swooning all over me. If a guy had the "guts" to ask me out, then I went out with him once, I did not/ no not kiss on the first date. If he intrigued me, he got another date, regardless of HIS looks! I have hundreds of friends that I adore and many I keep in touch with. I still hug everone I see that I know. My boyfriend, Lamar does too. He has this type of personality. I love that about him!
In Lamar's profile he states, "I'm not looking for a "Barbie doll" or for arm candy. But a real girl, who can relax, play, have fun, and not constantly be worrying if her makeup needs 'touching up'. It's all about attitude with me! What is in your heart is what counts. ldt said it well! I can't handle a snob, racist or anyone who backbites others. I don't care how good looking you "think" you are. If your personality makes me want to run, I will. My friends are diverse people and I care for each and every one of them. I have my favorites that I talk with often but it is because they "click" with me. They understand me and still love me. You never know what kind of caring, compassionate heart someone has until you share time with them.
My ex-husband and I were so different "looking", he was 14 years older and didn't primp like I do. I always look professional, manicure, pedicure, hair styled nice, facial, etc. I'm high maintance and he is not. He takes a shower, combs his hair once for the day and he is through. No one thought we belonged together but I waited on him hand and foot and loved him with all my heart. He is a good man! He wore t-shirts and work pants. I wore dress clothes and dress shoes. We were the "odd" couple, as people often put it.
Bottom line: It's not whats on the outside that counts. It is what you hide in your heart and the thoughts in your mind that counts! He was pure and loving. Simple man, with a simple heart! That is all a girl needs!  Jan

After almost 20 years of dating on the internet.. I just recognize the signs.
It's very possible.. but slim.. that I am wrong.
I'd happily admit that I am wrong if proven so.. but normally fake profiles start the "I don't have to prove anything to you" stuff.
Just look at the photos.. a chick like that doesn't need a dating site... trust me.

For guys, this "sexiest man alive" thing is about social value more than looks. The guys on that list are often not so fantastic looking, but happen to be famous, talented, in-demand.
So... If I were at the top of the social food chain a.la. Derek Jeter, I wouldn't chase endless flocks of women around. Knowing I could have them on a whim would take a lot of the fun out of it.
I'd simply have my people find me a party where Ana Ivanova will be in attendance... And take it from there!
(The merit of this approach isn't lost on a lot of high status males you'll notice, ex. David Beckham, Tom Cruise, Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, etc.)
Is it true that very beautiful people are really lonely?
It seems like some beautiful people (women) get stuck in a situation where a lot of men are too intimidated to approach them. I had to go through a mindset change myself to recognize that the stunning c*cktail waitress... Needs lovin' just like all the rest of us! 
At the same time, they tend to be surrounded by a lot of very superficial, fair-weather people. That can be a lonely situation when you are at a low point.
I think a sexy tomboy has the best of both worlds. She'll tend to be more approachable, and have friends who actually value her for her.
