I have a fight August 3rd and I'm only like 15 pounds over but I want to do as little as possible to get down to the weight anyone have and tips or secrets to get the weight off fast?

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, among other things, I'd suggest
- Cut back on all liquid calories. Including the following: Smoothies. Juices. Lattes. Slurpies. Sodas. Jamaica. Horchata. Atol. Wine. Beer. Licuados...
Stay very active. Do your exercise routine regularly.
Cut all meals in HALF!!!
Just doing that, will help shed a few pounds rapidly. If you don't believe me, try it. (It's not gonna help if you eat a bunch of large / high carb / high fat meals.)

drink 1 eight ounve hlass of water as soon as you wake up, then go wrap clear syran wrap around your body and work out ... you can also put on a trads bag ... go running ... then drink tea that will cleanse out your intestines... its usually called dieters tea, before and after you eat ... it will help you lose weight fast!!!!

LOL OMG if your a TRUE MMA fighter you should know damn well you can sweat out 10 pounds of water DUH anyone knows that so hmmmm that right there tells me you don't know what your doing and your diet sucks! Not even going to waist my time with this

Is weigh in the same day as the fightcause if not is foucus on dropping water weight for sure woulsnt say cut way back on cal u need your muscle for the fight unless your doing MMA and a Gracie jiu jitsu practitioner then its all technique strength just amps it up

Shut and go away I starteded around 220 and was down to 185 at the time I posted that learn to read i know how to cut but everyone does it different ways and was just seeing if someone had any suggestions and you can't just "sweat out 10 pounds of water" once you've already cut down so much

Actually bro you can drop alot of water wieght look at Brock lesnar he drops about 30 lbs for weigh in bit usually gains it back by fight night fat and muscle don't. Go and come that fast

He's also about 70 pounds heavier than me so he has more weight to lose

That gym love chick is fat and never has anything good to say. She is an idiot but anyways bro I would limit your sodium intake drastically. No salt period! Eat only fresh vegetables and H2O!!! A caffeine pill will also increase your heart rate to help you burn more calories when working out but the bottom line is if you need to drop fifteen lbs. to fight in that lower weight class your skill level at fighting is not that good. I would just continue to work on wrestling, boxing, Muay Thai and Jits. Also incorporate a regular running routine. At least 40 miles a week to help with your stamina and of course a regular weight training program. Free weights only. Keep your hands up at all times. Constantly move and if possible take the fight to the ground and choke him!

And please don't take offense to this but your chin is a boxers fantasy. If I have the reach on you or I can get inside a swift uppercut or elbow to your chin and it's lights out period. Again I strongly suggest you take the fight to the ground and atleast get side control and try dropping elbows to the face. If he gives you an arm or leg... Break it but hope he gives you an arm. I wish you good luck in your fight but don't be discouraged if you lose. You will always learn something in defeat
