In the curan where Muslims are instructed to kill the infidel where ever they are found, exactly who would they be (the infidel)? Also concerning those who call themselves Muslim yet don't obey there own religious text to "kill the infidel", are they not true Muslims, are they waiting for there opportunity, are they cowards?

There are many factors here.
First we need to separate Islam, and Muslims.
Muslims are human beings, susceptible to outside influences in their life.
Islam, is a writtin doctrine, a political ideology.
Yes, the written doctrine orders all who are not muslims enslaved, reduced to dhimmie status, or killed.
This is plainly written in the doctrine and is not open for negotiation.
You have in the messenger a beautiful pattern of conduct to follow. ( Qur'an)
The closer you emulate muhammed, the better muslim you are.
But the problem here is that Muhammed was arguably one of the most vile persons in all of recorded history, a thief, a murderer, a slave trader, a warlord, a pedophile, and rapist.
"Good muslims",... are very evil people.

I believe the "infidel" is a pagen/multi-god worshipping person within a certain distance of their holy center. I've never been very keen on islam, enough of their worshippers tend to have problems. Not sure how it can be a religion of peace when they're d*cks to each other and other people. same can be said of christianity. not sure how their prophet came to educate his people when frankly the problem people behave rather ignorantly. frankly i think most religion's have been twisted, and their time has long passed.

Actually there is no evidence Muhammed existed at all, but it is the writings of the 9th century and the forced compliance to them, that creates the religion.
While Christianity has many crimes laid at it's doorstep. the crimes cannot be traced to the religion, but rather to the people in charge, manipulating the religion for personal gain.
Islam is different in the way the crimes are directly from the written doctrine of the religion itself.
It does not matter who is in charge.
This is an important point that our government should be explaining to the American people.
The cleric of the day means nothing, the 1200 year old written doctrine is forever.
