Today ( 11 June ) I ended up losing 2.8 miles and on Monday, I lost about 20 miles. Prior to this incident, the last time it did this was back in 2008. The speedometer is working correctly and keeping the correct speed as I was able to confirm it with my trusty digital Heathkit Tachometer / Speedometer that I have installed. It is probably is nothing to worry about, but if it is going to be a problem, I would rather fix it sooner than later. Could this be some sort of lubrication issue or a precursor to something else about to destroy itself?
