I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone to be cautious with their fireworks this year. Not just for danger in handling them, but for potential vets with PTSD. If you know you live near someone who's served in Afghanistan or Iraq let them know when you'll be starting your celebration. Just be courteous and make sure they'll be ok with the sound of explosions. Be understanding that they may have been in a dangerous situation and may not speak of it to many, if anyone.
Be courteous of those who've been in the line of fire to protect us from the horrors of the world. Fireworks aren't the only way to celebrate our freedom. Have fun and enjoy yourselves.

Nicest, most courteous post I've seen. I concur with your message.

My guy is one of these types and my best friend. I didn't think of it on my own. Just figured I'd use my resources to help spread the word for those who wouldn't think of it.
Enjoy your day everyone!
