Is it possible for a person who practices Buddism, to live their lives (ie. fall in love, have sex, raise kids) and still adhere to the teachings of The Blessed One? In the beginning, when I first converted to Buddhism I believed you had to be like the monks and nuns. Cloister you'reself away and never have sex or enjoy a deep meaningful relationship with another person. I have since come to realize that it's all a matter of how you do it. With mindfulness and compassion Would u agree?

I would agree. But then I have to ask the question, what is the purpose of your practice. Yes, I have read about masters who have attained enlightenment, but only a couple who were in a relationship. It would take a very special partner to put up with a serious practioner. If your purpose of this life is to live it for the benefit of your next live, living a middle way life, focusing your thought on virtuous actions, engaged in a specific daily practice and such, then yes, I do believe you can have the cute mate, but they must be tolerant of your practice. Is there a specific practice that you are engaged in and are you an attending member at any temple or center?

That's bull !!! Buddhism or any other religions do not condone a mate ...it is a solitary journey. ...you may wanna Google that before you dispense any type of spiritual advice to weaker minds .you're not helping if that's your intention.bad advice is worst than no advice.

the major issue with having a partner is that most people will allow lust to enter their minds too much. so if you're gna have a partner, control your lust, and keep your focus on the crown chakra. the biggest issue (for guys especially) is the lost of semen. in nei kung practice we know that semen (jing) builds qi (bioenergy) and bioenergy builds shen (spirit). to drain our semen essence weakens our ability to build shen. so dont release semen when having sex

I believe that dogma and doctrine in any religion is man-made in an attempt to create their gods/goddesses, in their own image, and for purposes of greed and control through hierarchy.
Do unto others, as you would have done unto you.
Do what you will and harm none.
It's all energy and it's all relative.
We have a conscience. This will tell you right from wrong if you are in tune with the energy of the all.
We are all one and separatness is just an illusion.
If you have love for this energy, yourself and others, you will not harm, anyone including your self and others.
